Buying Broken Cameras for Repair
I'd have to say I got a great deal on this one. If you can find other cameras that need repair, example broken screens, and have some technical knowledge, and ambition...I recommend buying some broken ones for cheap, buying the new screens, and fixing it yourself. Its really alot of fun. Plus then you can either use it, or sell it. Your choice. This R927 is really a good camera. One of the super cool features is the "Panoramic" shooting. You can take up to 5 pics and "stitch" them together to make 1 huge panoramic pic. I did a few in Chicago and they came out really nice. So for all you techno-geeks out there like me, have some fun, and take on a new challenge. Repair a camera, and save it from the landfill. See...Im even thinking about the environment! R927 is a great entry level, but high end camera.
There's a lot to like with the HP R927. First and foremost is the beautiful 3" LCD view screen. A lot of family friends were pretty awe struck when they saw mine. Matter of fact, two of them ran right out and bought one. -They're in love with this little camera. The camera is feature packed. The in camera panoramic feature is very slick and guides you where the next picture should be shot so to better match adjoining pictures. I was able to stitch 5 picture for a full 180 degree radius picture. Other features like macro, bracketing and in camera red eye detection and elimination work well and easy to set up. -Even for the novice. The buttons are a little small for some us that have 10 thumbs. And a higher end lense that would take this normal 3 x 8 (3x analog & 8x digital) could ... There's a lot to like with the HP R927. Excellent camera
I bought the HP PhotoSmart R927xi 8.2 Megapixel camera Four weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive camera. It take excellent photo but you need alot of lite to take a good video. The HP PhotoSmart R927xi 8.2 Megapixel camera size is perfect for carrying and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 day. I had one of these for years Loved it. Droped it on carpeting in bed room & bemt the lens as it was in the out position. Sent it off for repasir & They told me parts for what I needed were not available. So I saw you were selling yours & I jumped at the oportunity to have another one. Long story short Got it & Love it.
