Robert Redford directs this compelling story of 14-year-old Grace MacLean (Scarlett Johansson), who is emotionally and physically scarred after suffering a terrible accident while riding her prized horse, Pilgrim. Desperate to help her daughter, Grace's mother, Annie (Kristin Scott Thomas), a high-powered magazine editor, launches an all-out campaign to find a horse whisperer, someone with a unique gift for curing troubled horses. She learns of Tom Booker (Redford), who works to rebuild all the lives shattered by the accident. The Horse Whisperer
I did enjoy this movie very much and the scenery was breathtaking. It was exceptional on the part of not knowing what to do and waiting to make a decision. So many times in life, how many times do we hastefully make a decision when possible there is time to wait. I could take part of this movie and see that two decisions could have been made about it. For one the time to put the horse down came and yet it was good for the child to not put the horse down. For most of the people putting the horse down would had to of been the decision, due to the fact of monetary funds. In this particular movie showed how patience can make things so much better and that it is a true gift and sometimes it does take an outsider with a gift to help others make it through something as complicated as this ... This shows the whole family being affected by the tragedy and how it took yet another whole family to help the one family out. I have wondered how the rest of the story would have went with the family that lost their child and how this story would go on with the family returning home with their cured horse. The Horse Whisperer had a wonderful story line and kept my attention and waiting for more. It also showed how complicated our lives can become.

Bring a Tear to Your Eye - Refreshing Movie
In this movie the Horse Whisperer, it starts out with two girls meeting on their ranch and taking their horse for a ride. It is during the winter and they are trying to climb up a hill which is icy. The horse and girl slide crashing into the other horse. They get pushed down the hill onto the road when an on coming trailer truck is barreling down the road. One of the girls dies and the other is severly traumatized and loses one of her legs. Her horse is terribly injured and was recommended it be put down. Kristin refuses as she knows how important that is to her daughter Grace. Kristin finds a horse whisperer by the name of Tom Booker. He doesn't want to fly to New York so Kristin packs up the horse and Grace and drive several thousand miles. Kristin meets Tom Booker who is still ... The Horse Whiperer
This is a great movie. Tells the story of a young girl involved in an accident who becomes injured and is afraid to ride her beloved horse who was also injured severly in the accident. This movie is great for the whole family. The story of hope ,love and determination on both the horse's part and that of the young girl as they work to become a team once again.Has a little bit of romantic twist between young girls mother and the man who works with the horse so the horse is able to regain its trust in the humans and then works with girl to help her to help her horse. I have bought two copies of this one for me and one for my 5 year old horse loving garanddaughter.This is a great movie. Horse Whisperer
I had seen this movie on television and loved it. It had two of my favorite things in -- Robert Redford and horses. The very best combination for me. I dont mind watching movies a second or third time if I think they are good, There is such a poor selection of good things on television. If youre not a fan of sitcom or hospitals or detectives you are out of luck. So I bought it for those nights when nothing I like is on tv.I had seen this movie on television and loved it. It had two of my favorite things in -- Robert Redford and horses. The very best combination for me. I dont mind watching movies a second or third time if I think they are good, There is such a poor selection of good things on television. I bought this video for my 13 year old daughter. We both watched it thinking it was a training video on horse wisper. A bit shocking at the beginning. Despite my oops, We all watched and loved it. Again thank you . Oh and by the way the video quality was very good Thank you for your honesty in the product.
