    WOW WOW = my heart was beating fast!! INTENSE = WOW

    Although the beginning / set up was a bit confusing, this movie was gripping. I'm not a fan of either Baldwin or Hopkins, but they are both excellent actors. The gaunt crazed look on Baldwin's character's face was intense and very real...gives me goose bumps just mentioning it. The story is about a getting lost in the wild and surviving bear attacks, and then surviving each other. This is 2008, 15 years later and the film is as fresh as if it were made yesterday. I resisted watching it because like many famous celebrity actors, you never really forget its them and not the character. But the conflict with the bears and being subject to the natural elements was just FAB U Lous movie making. Very very worth while watching. Watch it, enjoy it on the EDGE of your seat, then watch it again... If ...

    The Edge

    Billionaire Charles Morse accompanies his supermodel wife Mickey to photo shoot at Alaska. The shoot is to be made by fashion photographer Robert Green. To find specific Indian for the shoot, they fly to even more distant location, where their small plane crashes into a lake. To survive in the woods full of man-killing bears they need each other, but the smarter of the men, Charles is suspicious that Robert is having an affair with his wife. This is a well written, well acted, well directed thriller. Anthony Hopkins as always turns in a great performance but the big suprise is Alec Baldwin who did just as well. This movie has some of the best dialogue ever written for a movie of this type, and the action scenes are clever with a blazingly paced. "The Edge" is a terrific movie.

    A must-have classic!

    As a huge Hopkins and Baldwin fan, this movie will always be one of my favorites. They were both amazing in this one. Plus, this movie never would have worked so well, if not for the stellar performance by the bear too! Hats off to his trainer for sure. Riveting from start to finish, with a touching and heartbreaking storyline. A must have for any DVD collection. And as I always say, an extensive personal archive of hard copy movies will really come in handy, along with a solar power battery, a DVD player and a projector, for those priceless movie nights, after we start rebuilding the world before too long! Your local community will make you the Mayor during the coming grid-down crisis! Peace in our time!

    Pay Attention to this One.

    I must have watched this movie a dozen times. There is so much to learn in it. Its not just the action or the terror filled moments but the more subtle things. Great movie. Watch it with someone you care about. Anthony Hopkins at his best.

    Great movie

    Great movie, if you ever wonder what it would be like to be stuck out in the wild, here you go, lol. This is a thrill of a movie, action gets going fairly fast in this one. New great to watch, shipped fast, recommend buying from here.
