Very Satisfied
I've been using this litter box for quite some time now and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. Thank God for covered cat boxes!! Just an FYI to buyers: The swinging door can be a little tricky at first; just make sure it's snapped into the proper places securely; it's never come off during use for me, thus far. And by all means, do use the enclosed front grate. It takes 90% of the litter off the paws, so there's very minimal outside cleanup.I've been using this litter box for quite some time now and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. "large" litter pan
I have a medium sized adult cat and although the product is great in quality and price it is far from the "large" size indicated. my cat does not have much room to turn around leaving her to step in her own mess from time to time when attempting to scoop. The main perk of this product was the tray near the door that allows litter to fall from the paws when leaving the pan HOWEVER the size of this pan and the very small door makes it near impossible for my cat to get in and out of the box with out difficulty. this would be much better for a kitten or juvenile cat rather than an adult so I would not recommend this product for an adult cat unless they are on the small side or unless you want to remove the catch tray like I unfortunately had to. Light weight with great features.
This litter box is light in weight and very easy to close. I am very happy with this product.

It didn't work
None of my 3 cats liked the idea of an enclosed cat litter box. My cats are 5 to 8 years old. They hated it. They were very uncomfortable inside it. The lid doesn't snap into the base so any sudden movement like the cat trying to get in or out will make the lid fall off. I am using it with the lid off, but I will be switching to one of my previous litter boxes that are cheaper and are made of a sturdier plastic. After watching a Jackson Galaxy video, I realized that cats don't really like closed litter boxes and this was a mistake. If you still want to go for it, please note that the lid doesn't have any ventilation. This helps keeps the smell inside it, but I think this makes cats even more uncomfortable. IRIS cat box
I wasn't sure cats would want to use the little grid that is on the inside front of the cat box. When they go to get out they have to step on this grid. So far so good. And using that really cuts down on litter outside the box. It is removable if they hate it.
