Product Information

This product is a medium telephoto lens with a macro feature for 1x magnification. Fluctuations in spherical aberrations caused by focusing are suppressed, and high-quality images are obtained at all focusing distances. With eight aperture blades, good background blur is obtained even when the aperture is decreased by one or two stops. A focusing limiter which limits the magnification to 0.25x is built-in.

    Very nice...

    I have rated 4 out of 5 for overall rating and picture quality purely because I am probably average, and the lens is probably excellent, hence meet half way, plus a bit! . I am new to macro photography and I must say that I was impressed with the difference this macro lens makes. This lens opens up a whole new world in photography that throws in a new dimension that challenges me again. The feel of the lens is solid and sturdy, and it absolutely does what it says on the tin ( that's if you understand what it says on the tin). It also makes a good portrait lens as its clear and crisp and not as intrusive as the 50mm. Sorry 50mm, but there is a new favourite in the class!! Would recommend...

    Great value for money, works perfect, just like new, excellent.

    Needed a macro lens to suit camera. Great product, great pictures and excellent value. Easy to use. Plenty of options to get that final image you require.

    Not cheap but worth it.

    Stunning lens, and the best I have ever used for portraits where it arguably has even more value than as a full 1:1 macro lens. Due to it weighing almost half that of my 24-70mm, I sometimes just pop it on for the day and adjust my positioning, knowing the optics will be the best possible.
