Don't buy this game for even a dollar, it's that bad.
This game is just horrible in every aspect. -It has almost nothing to do with anything from the classic book. -The storyline consists of Tom falling asleep in class at school, where the rest of the entire game consists of various levels in his dream. Big whoop. -Graphics are horrible. -Character and background designs are very bland. -Enemies are very random. -Music is incredibly repetitive, boring, and annoying. -You die in just one hit. -They ripped off Super Mario Bros. by using a temporary invincibility power-up that makes your character blink random colors, and the use of the letter T. Once you get 20 T's you earn an extra life, which can be difficult, especially since one of the power ups is cruel and actually takes away 10 whole T's. -There is ... Great Hidden Platformer
I love this game. I have played this game when I was young and it is still an old favorite. Play as Tom Sawyer or Huck Fin(Player Two). You fall asleep in class and dream up this wild adventure, fighting off pirates, octopus, bats, mummies, and more trying to get to the end and fight off Crazy Injun Joe, the man who Tom has feared for most of his life. It is worth a good look over to experience a good old fashioned platformer.I love this game. I have played this game when I was young and it is still an old favorite. This is a "classic" NES game very loosely based on, of course Mark Twain's novel. In fact...this game is very much like the novel- almost identical, now that I think about it. If you are struggling to get a grip on Twain's novel so you can pass your HS or college-level English Lit. course- and Spark Notes just aren't helping- go ahead and toss this in your NES for a few hours. really great vintage game great for all ages as long as they can play a video game but of coarse you should get the instrutions for it for longer play or even the cheat codes . I would say this is a must have for a nes collector two thumbs up . but if you dont like it you can allway resell it ..thank you from lizzieg183
