    Best series ever

    The author writes in such detail that you can picture each setting and character ever down to the sound of their voice and their smells! I daresay her writing of these novels have almost ruined me for all other authors. Love the historic authenticity with which she writes with. Thank goodness they are lengthy! If you genuinely love to read you will not regret strating this series. There is now a show based on the novels, which is also good, but does not compare to the written word!

    This is one of my all time favorite books. This particular book is in New condition and is beautifully covered and bound. A worthwhile purchase.

    I've never read a better book!

    historically correct fiction with plenty of fantastic action,romance ,non-boring drama ,and even small amounts sci-fi . details of 18th century culture and landscapes of Scotland are never boring( and are correct) . I have seldom read a book twice within the same decade (unless it was for a class),yet I've already read this book twice within a few months of having read it the first time. This novel is so well written that it's no wonder that the author also wrote for Disney ----but this book is for adults only !!!

    OUTLANDER

    From early on in my adult life this has been one of my favorite go to books!! Intrigue and romance, history speckled within fiction, fancy and plain, rugged and royal. All combine into a masterpiece of historical romance that has now swept up millions of fans on TV as well as in print!!
