Thank you for selling us this Sony Handycam. We have been able to transfer some of our old 8mm video cassettes to our computer. It is great having these family memories.

Avis les plus pertinents

  • Great with a major limitation for users in the US

Everything about this printer is spectacular with one exception. The previous generation had the ability to change the country or origin settings to permit CD/DVD printing. This model has disabled that change. As such, the printer, while having the mechanical and software possibility to print on to discs (which I had hopes of doing again like my previous Pro9000 Mark II), is crippled. What ever the legal issues constraining Canon from offering this feature in America, selling a printer in this market with less than complete features (features that are offered elsewhere) is deceptive. I doubt I will buy another Canon pro model again that isn't fully functional.

  • Replacement for HP 9650

My large format HP printer started doing weird things after many years of use. The HP had provided a lot of great work, but HP customer service is ... well, there isn't any. I have a Canon scanner which is outstanding so decided to try the Canon printer. The only reason I graded it good instead of excellent is that is has a huge footprint and takes up a lot of real estate. It prints fast and with excellent quality. Paper handling is okay though there are a lot of things to flip "up & down & here & there" to carry it out. I did all my b&w document printing with the HP along with photo work, but I wouldn't recommend that with the Canon, partly because small b&w laser printers are so cheap now and cost per page is much less, but also I just ...

  • Totally worth to have it

I'd give the "Excellent" rating if it wasn't because of the high running costs (inks) However if you are not in the commercial production this printer will do it just fine! Has a little too big footprint and large size but for those studio proofs and those small projects the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 MKII has a high quality output, easy to use and setup, reliable and your prints will truly astonish your clients. So far I've printed 12 11x14 and still have ink (original "demo" cartridges) on metallic paper!!! They look (even better) than the one from my local lab... And of course: 10x better than Costco, or those 1 hour labs.

  • Quality Professional Photo Printer

Following reading multiple reviews for the Pixma 9000 and comparing with other like kind printers, I pulled the trigger on this one. Using good quality photo papers the quality is just as good as a professional lab. The printer is just so-so when using regular stock paper, 22Lb. 98 bright. My HP All-in-one does a better job on regular paper. Ink consumption is OK ,with the printer taking 8 separate cartridges. Expect to pay just over $100.00 for a full compliment of cartridges. However, Canon does offer some competitive deals on ink and photo paper combinations. Don't skimp on the quality of paper as the paper makes a big difference in the output print quality. The software driver is pretty intuitive and allows you to customize and save settings by paper size and printing ...

  • Dominatingly apparent

I have several other canon printers, copiers, and other products and I am surprised at the extremely large footprint of this printer. I find the size causes me unnecessary stress as I want to make sure it is closed completely when not printing just so it won't dominate my thoughts as I pass it. I have added a beautiful cloth to focus on and believe I have placed it in the most beneficial space for all. Printing is slow compared to my Canon i9900 and Pixma MP530. This one is a slight combination of the two of these. I chose it because of the CD tray attachment capability. I wanted wireless. It works fine through my network, and it's only 1 wire. (One day that will be a great punchline!) If the size was not so dominating, it would be an excellent printer. But when size becomes an ...
