  • Love This Author

Found Erik Larson while looking for new books to read. Have already read Thunderstruck and highly recommend it. He keeps your attention from the start. Have ordered the rest of his books. Will read Isaac's Storm next. Being raised a short distance from Galveston, the history of this storm intrigues me. Hurricanes were a part of our lives growing and so frightening.

  • Interesting technical book. Some close parallels to Elon Musk etc.

Techies should read it for the development dynamics.

  • Fascinating historic account

I love the juxtaposition of a crime at the turn of the century and the invention of wireless communications and how the two were interwoven. The love Eric Larsons passion for detail and his great gift of storytelling.
