    Absolutely amazing experience with this company, I accidentally ordered the wrong vintage case and I was worried (because my budget is extremely small) but they canceled and refunded my order within an hour of cancelling it (it had not yet been shipped). Case arrived about a few days later and was extremely well packed, much cleaner and better condition than the pictures even showed and it smelled like electronics and not of smoke or some nasty smell (big deal to me). Highly recommend!

    Unpredicted lag/wait before POST

    Maybe mine is a bad board. Here is the problem: After powering on, before POST, this mobo tends to think on its own for somewhere from 5 to 15 secs. The error code display jumps around during this time. No post on the monitor. Enabled fast boot, disabled RAM training. tweaked around in the BIOS setting, no luck of getting rid of the wait time. My last Asus board P6T V2 responds instantly with powering on. No other problems yet.

    Amazing Board

    I've seen so many reviews on all the x99 boards, even the high-end boards have had quality and defect issues. I got this board back in 2014 because at the time it was the only board they stocked, but now that I look back, its crazy to see so many x99 boards that have had bad defects or failers over time. The ASUS x99a has never caused me issues and never let me down, it has a super easy interface and easy overclocker. if you can find one of these today, it's my recommendation. My current one has been in my rig since 2014 and still running strong.

    Excellent home server replacement.

    This is a very robust unit. Supermicro has always built solid, well-fitted machines, and this is no exception. I expect this server replacement to keep my home domain healthy for quite a while.
