  • The Dragon Reborn Review

I admit I’m a little biased as this is my favorite book series. This particular book is well written and very detailed. Although the first two books mainly develop the main protagonist; this book, which is Book 3 in the series, really starts to develop the other five major protagonists of the series. Robert Jordan does a fabulous job of bringing these novels to life with detailed characterizations, detailed surroundings and details of all of the inhabitants of the Wheel of Time world. I highly recommend this series and this book. It would be best to read the first two books in the series, The Eye of the World and The Great Hunt, prior to reading this book.

  • Read the WHOLE series!

Great Story Period! so imaginative and it just blows you away. if you've read the previous two in the series, then i strongly suggest keep going. Pros: more in depth character growth, brings together what the first two books have been suggesting/plotting (ie dragon reborn), and introduces some new great ideas/plot that I'm personally shocked anyone could possible compare to JRR Toiken's LotR's. Cons: creates more questions, and fewer answers (which I personall take a pro), slower flow then in book 2, but not drastic. it has its flaws but what book doesn't? A great fantasy read for anyone who has ever even CONSIDERED Lotr's!!

  • the dragon reborn by robert jordan

Hi, I am reading this series and it is engrossing. Like Tolkien the characters come to mean something. Their problems are very life like in that there is no single set evil to battle. Mr. Jordan does not set up one hero driving to defeat one foe. Instead his main character is at best a reluctant hero because that hero is as feared as he is revered. He is assailed by people who wish to destroy him from dedicated enemies too those who hate through ignorance and dedication to faulty traditions. Often in his books as much energy is wasted in fighting what should be allies as is used to defeat the minions of the central foe. Each character has desires that are frustrated by events or realized in unforseen ways. There are times when the plot turns on it's ear. If there is one complaint I ...

  • The title sums up the story

Got it in the time promised. The author is great in the way he presents the story.

  • Review for The Dragon Reborn by Robert Jordan

I decided to buy this book because I absolutely love the series. I like how Robert Jordan brings the characters alive and makes me feel like I know them personally. I also enjoyed the hilarity of how Rand was denying the truth about himself until the very end, though it was plain to everyone else. There is nothing in this book (or series) that I disliked. I would recommend it to everyone.
