this camera is ok
I bought this one because it was afforable and the previous expensive one i bought has bad lighting. Although this has great lighting be sure to get a memory card because it only holds a few(really few) pictures. Also be are to always reset the camera(because it freezes alot) and carry the charge(bad battery life.) Young, Fun, and Easy to Operate
The design of the izone300 appeals to a younger crowd with its white exterior and bright blue trim, width of about 1 inch, and the easiest point and shoot capabilities of any digital camera I've used, thus far. Featuring 3.2 mega pixels, 3X digital zoom and a 1.5" LCD color display, it is well worth more than the already low price tag! Perfect for a night on the town or a college dorm party, this camera is totally portable, has excellent battery length, and delivers crisp and bright pictures. The docking station and included software is almost too simple to use. Especially nice for the middle/high school crowd and senior citizens who don't like all the rigamarole of some of the higher-tech digital cameras. The only drawback I've experienced is the "glowing" effect. The flash has 2 ... Should the picture-taker be too close to the subject while using the flash, the resulting image will either have a "glow" around it or to it, or will make the subject matter appear unusually bright. I've tried tweaking the zoom length and distance from my subject and found that the farther away you stand is better, and to use the zoom to focus in. The flash is also slow to recharge after each picture. It is not possible to continuously snap away with this camera in flash mode. If you are a fly by night photographer like me, and you want to purchase a low-tech digital camera that offers most of the capabilities of its bigger brothers but with less fuss,more style, and 1/4 of the price, this camera is for you. Kudos to Polaroid!

This camera takes fairly low quality photos and has an internal battery that rapidly (like 10 to 20 shots - fewer when using the flash) loses it's charge. The point and shoot simplicity is perfect and I am very glad this is something that was purchased for my 5 & 7 year old. It's no great loss if they break it and is simple enough that they can both operate it, right down to plugging it in to the USB port to charge it. I personally am not thrilled with any device that has an internal battery - it's use is quite limited while charging. If you can get one for under $30 you are better off with one of these than one of the VGA resolution cartoon character digital cameras for your kids :) We purchased this item because it was in the child's budget, small and easy to handle, and took SD memory ... Only to use as a toy camera for kids/children.
I would say this camera is more of a kids or children camera. The pixel resolution is only 3.2mp which now a day is very low. The normal for a descent camera is 10mp or above. There is no optical zoom and only has 3x digital zoom which for zooming is not good at all. The camera is very small and light and looks nice. It has a built in battery that you charge thru plugging the phone into a mini usb. The flash doesn't expose properly so if you are taking a picture of someone or something very close with the flash it will over expose and under expose if things are too far way. I bought this for my 8 year old son to use as a toy camera. If you are looking for one to use as main camera, then I would not recommend getting this.
