Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 plays to both sides of the Atlantic, prominently featuring the Ryder Cup as its showcase tournament. Players choose a squad to take through competition in several team-play formats, and lead their golfer to the ultimate victory in the tournament's Singles rounds. Along with all-American Tiger Woods, PGA Tour 11 co-stars up-and-coming Irish sensation Rory McIlroy, with high hopes of leading the European teams to victory over their overseas rivals. The Wii edition of the game features a refined swing mechanic that makes use of the MotionPlus accessory to account for real-life factors such as rotation, plane, and point-of-contact. Using the new motion-control swing, players can access the "True View" camera angle, which presents the course from a first-person perspective with a heads-up display.

I was very dissapointed in the previous series. This is playable...
If you have followed my reviews of all the TW Golf series, you would know that I really pissed off with the TW10 not only I resold it in a heartbeat, but Ebay took off my review. TW 11 is better in all respect of gameplay. The putting was so horrible with the other previous games it just made the whole experience miserable. I am pleased that the putting is back to what it should be...one putter & your effort will dictate the distance. The graphics of the course is very good. However, the animations of the golfers is so outdated, Im not sure how EA could look themselves in the face to release this as it was. The whole hype about being able to stand over the ball & swing is so-so...I found that this was less enjoyable than playing the game as it was. Getting $ and ... Putting 3 balls within yadda yadda yards & getting $5000 is just waaaay too rewarding. It would be nice to see a "delete profile" button somewhere on the screen. I am here to say that this rerun of this line of games has improved. But, in the end, a polished turd is still a polished turd in the end. Wii motion device makes a difference...esp. putting those pesky 6" putts. I was interested in the Masters myself, however, if the graphics is just the same, I cannot see myself dishing out $ in this economy on a game that is no more than a shiny turd. There is not much games that is worth playing in the Wii format, and that is the truth. However, if you have a need to want to practice the thought process of the game, this is still worth playing. Good revised game in an old washed up graphics. In the world of Wii, and the ability to swing the controller as if you are really swinging a wedge is rewarding for me when the conditions outside is worse than the game itself. I decided to give this game 4 stars due to their efforts to make this game what it should of been in the first place. If you have been away from the TW series and want to relive that honeymoon with this game, this game would be it to return to.

Really fun game
The game is only a good value if bought used. $50 for this would have been disappointing. It's fun gameplay and simulates a real golf game very well. Couldn't get the picture upload to work for my character but the game still plays very well.

This game is really good. I’m new at golf and this is a good game to practice playing. My best advice would be to read the manual. It’s much more fun if you are familiar with all the controls and game play. I’m happy I bought it.

Fun game and exercise to boot.
Skill level ranges from very easy to very hard. Graphics are just ok but functional. Would recommend.

Very enjoyable and easy to understand.
Very enjoyable! The game is easy to play and instructions are clear. There are three levels of skill so it is not too difficult for beginners yet challenging enough for more advanced play. You choose a player that brings certian skills to the game (strong putter, fairly accurate, etc). There are helps within the game to assist in the choice of clubs. You are able to see where each club will place the ball. There is also a club face help to assist in striking the ball squarely and not to the right or left. This has also four putt-putt games, frisbee golf, and a few more games besides the basic golf game. These are fairly challenging as there are moving attractions to figure out. We are an older couple who can't quite figure out all the buttons and whistles of some of the game out ... Very enjoyable! The game is easy to play and instructions are clear. There are three levels of skill so it is not too difficult for beginners yet challenging enough for more advanced play.
