Just . . . fun
I remember seeing this film as a young boy on TVs 'Chiller Theater' and not quite understanding some of the back story but thinking it was sort of funny with the extra large, ultra cheap hand prop. Now I understand all of the back story, still laugh at the hand and still find it amusing. If I can extract an hour's worth of pleasant entertainment from anything nowadays I latch onto it. It won't alter your views politically, make you ponder our human condition or push you to an epiphany. childhood horror

Attack of the 50 foot woman ( 1958 original version)
This is a classic 1950's sci fi film. For anyone who enjoys the sci fi films of the 50's and early 60's this is recommended viewing. This also features a second showing of the film with a commentary by Yvette Vickers who played the role of "Honey Parker". Fans of these films will notice that because of the low budgets they had continuity suffers and the special effects were sometimes laughable. That is a part of the charm of these films and one of the things that makes them so enjoyable. Again this is recommended viewing for fans of this genre.This is a classic 1950's sci fi film. For anyone who enjoys the sci fi films of the 50's and early 60's this is recommended viewing. One of my " Best Cinemanic Reunions " of 2014!!
What can I say,without telling on myself....? Allison Hayes , E. Vickers...!! I believe I was maybe 6 or 7 when I first saw this movie .It " Shook Me Up " , even at the young age I was,I understood the story! It's about the " Consequences ( of course not 50 feet tall!! ) of " Cheating " . Then after she " Grew " , my mind " Blew " !! Since that fateful night on a show called " Chiller Theatre " , I never forgot those 2 " Beauties " , or their names . Seeing Mrs. Archer walking down the road to the club was and still remains a " Vision Of Wonder " to this kid of the age of 6 or 7 . Now on DVD...???!!...I'm in Love with them all over again!!!You wonderful folks have earned a " Special ( Meaning " Off Limits To ALL Others!! ) Place Forever " in my heart for bringing " Some " of my ... More entertaining than I was led to believe
More thoughtful than most scifi of the genre. Charaters are not cardboard cut outs,just thought it was good entertainment.
