I love this watch. It is good looking, easily read, keeps accurate time, and is not too large. I am impressed with the leather bracelet, with it's unique opening mechanism. The lume on the hands works better than I have previously experienced. The icing on the cake is the magnified date window, similar to Rolex's. Although I have numerous watches, this one may become my normal wear. Delivery was properly packed and received (although I am not a fan of USPS shipping).

Not for large wrist guys.
Was really looking forward to this watch. Excellent detail and finish-the green looks great under sunlight. However, I couldn’t get the strap to close on my 8” wrist and despite a decent size case (39.5 mm), the dial appears rather small. It was swallowed up on my wrist and looked like a boy’s watch. Had it fit my wrist visually I probably would’ve just bought a new band but it just wouldn’t work for me. Too bad because it’s a nice watch. Oh, I also didn’t particularly care for the cyclops. Had I kept the watch I think I would’ve removed it. I’d give it a solid four stars for finish, quality and value…it just didn’t work for me.Was really looking forward to this watch. Nice looking, not uncomfortable to wear.
Recently purchased Seiko Alpinist SPB121 watch. Strap that came with watch is stylish but stiff. I replaced with silicone "Seiko" band and buckle. Watch is bulky and heavy on wrist. It is however very stylish. Not impressed with cyclops, feel it's unnecessary, makes reading date at slightly wrong angle blurry. Over dial size, if bigger, would make watch more visually pleasing. Functionality of watch is good. I would recommend pursing other options. At around $600-$700 this watch is disappointing. Recently purchased Seiko Alpinist SPB121 watch. Sophisticated tool-watch
The Seiko SPB121 is a beautiful timepiece designed to evoke a romance with the outdoor world with its verdant dial and compass bezel. It is sophisticated without being precious, and remains consistent with the tool-watch ethos. Sapphire crystal will certainly appeal to those desire a scratch-resistant piece, and the 70-hour power-reserve admirably kicks the game up a notch. The deployant buckle is secure, and well enough made, though at some point it might make sense to pair this watch with a band that suits your lifestyle and path. Couldn't be more pleased. It does pay to search around for a fair-price. In the $500-800+/- makes sense. Above that starts to feel opportunistic and gouging. This piece was fortunately well within its price point. This a great watch. My favorite of 23 that I own.
This automatic watch is very accurate, easily readable (the date magnifier window is outstanding), and attractive. I love the leather bracelet with the unique opening clasp. The lume on the hands is the best that I have seen. Overall, I prefer it to a Rolex.

Nice watch. Nice polishing. At 39.5 mm it will appear small on larger wrists. Well put together. Not a fan of the strap, look or design. But I intended to replace it with another strap when I purchased it.
