Pocket Radar
Good price compared to other more expensive radar guns. Easy to take with you due to its pocket size. Wide high speed measuring range. This model should have had a rec mode like the Ball Coach one.

Is Your Hood Safe from the HOODS in cars?
My hood is filled with a lot of folks of every age, culture, and language- speeding down my street. I wanted to know exactly how fast over the posted 30 mph they were going and I wanted to be incognito while doing it. The point was to produce a survey of days, times, hours, and may some video to show the police department why speed bumps would be advantageous on many of the streets in town. I do not have enough info to share at this time but the project is slowly coming together, and this little device is the key player. It looks like an ipod or smartphone, lightweight, and amazingly accurate. I tried it while driving in my car- the ones passing me on the freeway were actually speedoing 15-20 mph faster than I. She was later arrested (age 41) for vehicular manslaughter with 5-10 years looking her in the eye.

Fastpitch softball pocket radar!
excellent product, using it in fastpitch softball, works as well as ball coach, just doesn't have the features.

As good as much more expensive units, at a miniature size
I have owned other basic radar speed detection units that simply did not work further away that a few yards. This PR1000 works very accurately at over 100 feet away, whether it is a baseball, or a running child, or a moving car. It detects speed accurately with approaching objects, departing objects, and objects traveling transversely to the radar (sideways). Also highly recommend the "ultra weather proof police body cam" for sale by toptensale to help set up an undetectable documentation system for severe speeders. Excellent purchase, especially for documenting the speed of neighbors unconcerned with the safety of the children in the area. Highly recommend, especially for the size. Smaller than an iphone 4.
