From the makers of Dance Praise comes Guitar Praise, a Christian answer to popular music rhythm games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Players can shred to more than 50 Christian rock tunes from artists such as tobyMac, Relient K, Flyleaf, and Newsboys, and there are four levels of difficulty that cater to all skill levels. Playing well earns gamers "talent points" which can be used to acquire new lead and bass guitars, each with unique sounds and appearance. Multiplayer modes include the head-to-head Duel mode, and a Power Duel mode in which players can acquire power ups that negatively affect their opponent.

Gaming in a whole new Light! ;)
It is a blast!!! It is literally just like playing Rockband or Guitar Hero, except it it Christian music!! That is all I listen to, unless I am on the job site. Otherwise, its all Christian Contemporary, and so this is perfect!! These are the types of games that should be in more homes! What a great way to spend time together as a family! :) This game was very easy to install into my computer, and setting it up. I like how the game gives detailed results of your game play as well. Guitar Priase: The Christians answer to Guitar Hero!!
Pro's- It feels like a regular Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitar. The buttons are similar and the tactile feedback is identical. The game loads relatively quickly (its a PC only game. its not for game consoles:( bummer) As for game play if you have played the other versions its pretty much the same old stuff. The music slection is pretty good with possible expansions coming out in the next year or so. The guitars in the game not only look different but also play different. they have different sounds and characteristics that other guitar games lack. Its hard to explain if you dont play a guitar, but they all sound and play different and GP does a good job of capturing that. You dont get boos and cat calls if you mess up. you get the distinct sound of a buzzed chord and the sound goofs up for ... Pro's- It feels like a regular Guitar Hero or Rock Band guitar. The background isnt as interactive as some of the other guitar games but its more customizeable. Is that a word? OVERALL- Some people claim to have a bad time with the reciever for the wireless guitar. No problem here. Just so you know, SPACEBAR IS THE PAUSE BUTTON!!This is a good game for christian families that want their kids to be able to play video games but not worry about what they are being exposed to. Its worth it, buy it!!

Guitar Praise is just plain fun! Parents don't have to worry about bad language or negative influences. This game is for all ages. My nephew (age 14) has it and I recently bought it (age 49). I can't wait to get together to play against him. He'll probably kick my butt, but it still is great fun. Digital Praise has already released a 5 song addition for only 5 bucks. And according to their customer service rep they'll be releasing a 25 song upgrade in the next few weeks (spring '09) My advise? Best guitar game ever!
Awesome game, Better than Guitar Hero and Rock Band both. I just wish they would make another one of these Guitar Praise games!

LOVE this item! I used it at church with my 2nd Grade Sunday School class. Gave them the warning that I was not to hear "You stink" or "You suck" to anyone who wasn't going well. They totally came together and were cheering each other on. Their hands were too small to strum and do the riff thing at the same time. They were working together to do that while other kids were yelling out what colors came next. It was an awesome team building time.LOVE this item!
