Product Information

Accompanied by newfound friend Latisha, original funk masters ToeJam and Earl have returned to Earth in search of Funkopotumus' vinyl record collection, otherwise known as the 12 Sacred Albums of Funk. Once on the planet, however, it becomes apparent that all is not well: the Anti-Funk has caused a disturbance in the Funk. The three oddly colored natives of Funkotron must save the day. <br><br>To accomplish their mission, the trio will need to scour five different zones (Country, Urban, Water, Desert, and Snow), each consisting of multiple levels. Objectives include "funkifying" all the earthlings in a level as well as uncovering all the presents within. Once the objectives are completed, players can board an elevator that will whisk them to the next level. Armed with the power of funk-fu, players will need to repel the advances of malicious cheerleaders, rabbits, dentists, hula girls, and more, while collecting keys that will grant them access to new worlds. <br><br>Completing objectives rewards players with points used to earn higher funk-fu belts, which increase the wearer's health and attack power. As in previous games in the series, the presents strewn about the levels contain power-ups that can be utilized by the extraterrestrial protagonists, including roller skates, angel wings, spring shoes, inflatable decoys, and other fanciful gadgets. Money can also be acquired and spent on food items, such as sushi to replenish lost health.<br><br>As was the case with the original Genesis version, levels are randomly generated and can be played by two players cooperatively. Both characters will appear on the same screen when in close proximity of one another, but as they stray further apart, the screen will split in two, allowing each player to explore wherever they desire. Providing support for the Xbox Live broadband service, ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth lets players download new content, such as additional characters, more environments to explore, and other surprises.

    Earls is Ghetto Yo!

    Featuring off the wall, "just-for-the-funk-of-it" humor with a hip urban twist, "ToeJam & Earl III" delivers nonstop challenge and reward through mini-games, rhythmic Boss Battles, and unlockable areas and abilities. An open-ended game structure offers players a high degree of freedom with endless choices, and game levels are randomly generated so every play experience, in each of the many environments, is fresh and new. Funky music, rich character dialog and jaw-dropping graphics stimulate the senses throughout the game. Players can play alone, or use the dynamically splitting screen to play with a friend to double-team the clueless Earthlings in cooperative play.

    Great game for Teens and adults. Worth finding for TJ & Earl Gamers.

    I'm a long time fan of ToeJam & Earl. I saw that Xbox had part 3 out and had to get the game. Great graffics and interesting missions. Not to found of the mild cuss words and indecent actions. The game didn't need it. That is my major disappointment about the game. Rated for Teens, which the other two games were not. I can't really feel comfortable having the game played around littler kids around. All that aside, it's still a fun game to play. Great game for T.J. and the Big E. fans to complete the video game collection.

    Awesome Game Must Have

    I played this game a few times with my brother in law and just loved it! It's hard enough to be entertaining and present a challenge but not so difficult it's frustrating. The characters are fun but it's definatly a 13 and older type of game no blood and guts, I love gaming I just don't go for the shoot 'em up games and this is the perfect alternative, your entire mission is to covert all the earthlings to the ways of "funk" spread the "love" it's just a blast I can play for hours and there are so many levels and different worlds to explore it's always entertaining! My vote is absolutely get this game you will never regret it!

    Thank goodness for ebay

    This is not an easy item to find. It's just like trying to find a video game that features African American characters. (Very, very hard to find). Of course, ebay had this game. My daughter has enjoyed playing it in the past, however, it is discontinued in all the video stores because it is only available for regular X-Box. Thank you ebay, for providing a shopping solution for any and everything!!!
