Dejavu With Denzel Washington
This movie is interesting, captivating, and one must pay attention and stick with the changing plot to get it. But with Denzel Washington in it you can expect it to be good. He plays an ATF Agent who is brought in to help with an investigation into a terrorist plot that kills over 400 partying sailors from the USS Nimitz during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. During the course of the investigation he teams with a secret group of FBI agents who utilize some new space folding technology that allows them to see events about 4 days in the past. They also discover a local woman's link to the tragedy and Denzel convinces the group to let him travel back in time to help foil the plot, catch the suspect, and somehow save the lives. Yes it goes from crime fighting action to science fiction but in ... This movie is interesting, captivating, and one must pay attention and stick with the changing plot to get it. As With Most Time Travel Movies....
As With Most Time Travel Movies.... this one had a few rough edges. Enough that Tina had trouble figuring out what/why some things were going on. Additionally she hated it when the bass went boooom! every time the director wanted to let you know that a serious moment was happening. We sure didn't need that on a DVD at home! Maybe at a movie theater that would work, but it was an annoyance at home! Denzel was great as usual, the plot was pretty good, although a little rough when using the time travel aspects. The ending was pretty good, didn't leave us hanging. Good for a rental movie, and maybe to be viewed twice to get it all! The Bonus Feature deleted scenes were definitely scenes that should have been deleted! Michael (and Tina)As With Most Time Travel Movies.... this one had a few rough edges. Best movie ever that needs multiple viewings and gets better with each!
Greatest movie ever with great plot, great twists, great acting, directing, editing, AMAZING commentary with writer, producer and director that was interspersed with special feature clips just BEFORE a scene telling all the thinking, obstacles and creativity behind each and THEN you would see the scene! Each time I rewatched it with the commentary I wanted to watch the movie over again! I literally can't stop watching it and even rewatched it with the commentary/preview features subtitled so I knw who was making each observation THEN wanted to watch the movie again!Greatest movie ever with great plot, great twists, great acting, directing, editing, AMAZING commentary with writer, producer and director that was interspersed with special feature clips just BEFORE a scene telling all the thinking, obstacles and creativity behind each and THEN you would see the scene! Great Fantasy Movie about possible Future Technology!
This is a darker version of "Back to Future"! Denzel Washington pllays an ATF Agent who comes to investigate a domestic terrorist attack, and discovers a potential time machine in the possession of the FBI and uses it to investigate and solve the attack in a very unique way! It will keep you interested and involved the entire time!

Entertaining with an all star line up
Love this movie. Denzel is an amazing actor! Jim Caviezel does an outstanding job as the bad guy and Paula Patton, well she is so beautiful...with an all star cast including Val Kilmer, Bruce Greenwood & Adam Goldberg to name a few, is quite entertaining. The movie is about domestic terrorism where an explosion on a ferry kills several people. A team of investigators have a surveillance system that can look into the past up to 4 days. Denzel's character hopes to use this system to prevent the blast from killing hundreds of people and even prevent the death of a beautiful young woman that he becomes smitten with.Love this movie. Denzel is an amazing actor!
