Product Information

Like the same-titled release for N-Gage, Gameloft's Asphalt: Urban GT for Nintendo DS features licensed model automobiles in races through three-dimensional city environments. Players slide behind the wheels of virtual vehicles from manufacturers such as Audi, Hummer, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Volkswagen, and others. More than 30 aspects of each car can be tweaked and fine-tuned. The main driving action is displayed on the handheld's top screen, while progress information and other details are displayed below. Up to four Asphalt: Urban GT Nintendo DS players can race against one another in a selection of wireless multiplayer modes.

    Asphalt, one of the first racing games for the DS

    When I got a DS for Christmas I went looking for some games, I looked at this sweet game and realized it was $30, maybe for a console but not a handheld game. So I bought this cheapo. It was about $20 and a better value, although I should have paid the extra $10, for Asphalt Urban GT isn't a bad game, just not a very good one. The graphics are not that great, even for a handheld, and could have been improved. The actual racing is pretty solid, and easy to learn. The coolest feature by far is the ability to buy cars and "pimp" them out, not with 32 in. plasma TVs, but with upgraded parts, and even body decals. Although this game isn't the best, it still is fun and has some replay ability in it, which makes it a must have for a hard-core DS racing aficionado. Hope this helped decide ...

    good basic Racing game

    Overall if you are looking for a basic racing game this is the one for you. I recently got a Nintendo 3ds and did not know what kind of racing games that Nintendo ds offered. This ended up being a great choice as I know I like racing games and it seemed to perfectly fit my needs as a beginner on the Nintendo DS systems- Thats not to say it is easy (or impossible for that matter) to win races! Just that it is your basic race game. You are able to chose from multiple types of cars and car companies which is a plus as well.

    Fun game for kids to play.

    I like that both of my boys enjoy playing this game. They are 7 years apart and sometimes it is hard to get a game that the younger one can play with also. I bought this game because my older son thought it would be a good game for the two of them to play (he was right).

    A Great Game

    I bought it because I like racing games. I like the different choices of cars they have. It's a fun game. I like the "Power Booster." I like all the special effects. I didn't like that it was too easy,and I beat it,too soon.

    Asphalt Urban GT

    My son and I love this game. He is only 2, but the car stays on the track so he can play it. I also love this game cause it is still difficult enough for me and keeps me interested. Awesome game at a great price.
