    Not the best in the series, but not bad.

    General overview for those who don't want to know anything about the plot: I like Terry's writing. This book doesn't stand as strong as the others. At the end of this book, it seemed like it was a really long introduction to a character. A little bit more that might ruin it for those who like to know nothing about the story: I won't tell you much of the plot, but I will say that Richard and Kahlan don't make an appearance till the very end of the book. I knew this going into it, but as I like Terry's writing, and wanted to get through the series, I enjoyed it anyway. The characters are good, plot goes nicely, and it's an interesting read. When I started the next in the series, however, I realized how much it felt like I was getting back to the story. It was if the whole "Pillars of ...

    The Pillars of Creation

    Through this book Goodkind can really demonstrate his literary skill, and being able to see all sides of an issue. The series takes on the perspective, not of Richard's and Khalan's side but of the Order's side. You get to see a whole different perspective, and it is a nice change for the series. Goodkind has also done an excellent job of building up the suspense for the next book in the series, Naked Empire. So if any are in doubt about the quality of this chapter in the Sword of Truth series don't worry and read on in this most enjoyable story. Sword of Truth is a wonderful series. I recommend reading it..

    Terry Goodkind's The Pillars of Creation

    I decided to but the hard cover version after reading the paperback. This is book seven of the Sword of Truth series. Excellent story. The Pillars of Creation are people who are born with no spark of the gift in them. For those that do not know, the gift is the ability to use magic. I wold reccomend the Sword of Truth series to anyone who loves Fantasy/ Adventure. Sword of Truth books: Wizards First Rule Stone of Tears Blood of the Fold Temple of the Winds Soul of the Fire Faith of the Fallen Pillars of Creation Naked Empire Chainfire Phantom Confessor There is also a prequel called Debt of Bones.

    I'm so EXCITED!!

    Terry Goodkind is one of my all time favorite authors. I love the entire Sword of Truth series. And I have the entire series. But it was half hard cover and half paperback. I wanted it all in hard cover. That would be why I bought this book.

    This book was given to my son for christmas. He loves the author and will read it many times. it will make a good addition to his collection. he is starting a libery.
