The first one sent wasn't working, but when I contacted the seller, he apologized, then took the time to confirm that he had other units that were working. After confirming another one was working, he overnighted the item to me. Overall that's the best outcome I could have expected after realizing the first item sent wasn't working as described. Excellent communication, will buy more from this store if they have another item that suits my needs.

Received on 3rd day. Ordered three, one was bad. One was not showing fully charged when it actually was (a common flaw with these.) Free Return label for refund. Prompt refund, but I simply wanted a replacement sent, so had to end up re-offering at same price and hopefully reordering. There really should be an easier way to get a replacement. Good Seller, I can recommend. Left 5 stars and positive despite one being bad.

Perfect OEM replacement
This was a replacement for the same drive that made an awful ricochet clicking noise in a Dell laptop. The factory drive was made in China, so I specifically sought out one made elsewhere. The one I purchased was from the Philippines and, once cloned, fired right up in the laptop and have had no issues whatsoever. Great drive, lots of space and very quiet. A lot of these have been swapped for solid state drives by computer stores or savvy individuals so many sellers have dozens of drives for sale for dirt cheap, some never even turned on from the factory. A great proven drive, at a great price. A great combination.
I bought this little hard drive, adnd I put it into an external drive case and made myself an external hard drive to storesome important files and things on. I spent $29 on this drive and $5 for an external drive enclosure, and I have myself a 500 GB external drive for $34. A preassembled Toshiba, Western Digital, or Seagate would cost you about $50. So, I feel like I came out pretty good. The drive works great. I put it into a USB 3.0 enclosure, and it has really great transfer speeds, and 500 GB will hold a lot of data. Toshiba MQ01ABF050
Just installed this Toshiba MQ01ABF050 to expand storage on a new Aspire 5 laptop. Computer recognized it just fine, and it is extremely quiet. I could not hear it spinning when the computer recognized it. I am very impressed. Cannot say for durability, as I just put it in, but if it's anything like my old Toshiba laptop (that's still working) it will be fine long-term. Recommend.
