Although this shipped quick w free ship reasonable price used cond. & in good shape as stated the unfortunate part is that it is buyer pays for return ship and when you do that it makes it a loss for buyer financially to return I usually love "quality" Kdramas but the person who recommended may have misunderstood the meaning of such This Drama has racist tendencies and aside from that the humor is infantile and not worth watching...there are many more high quality dramas abounding . B class

Fast Times at Ridgemont High (2006, HD DVD)
Well, as Jeff Spicoli would say: "Far out, Man!" This dual layer hd-dvd and standard dvd combo is the one you should own, though way too short on extras, such as interviews with cast and crew members like the elusive Sean Penn. The picture is stunning in High Definition detail ... the acne just jumps off the screen; but the re-mixed audio, though not true digital, is a little washed out and sounds more like early Dolby Pro-logic processing. The extras are on the standard DVD , which is a pain to access and should have been placed completey on the HD disc for continuity, but having the standard disc gives the viewer the opportunity to make comparisons between the "old" format and Hi-Definition, and it is a wonder to behold. Colors are bright, blacks are good and details sparkle. ... Well, as Jeff Spicoli would say: "Far out, Man!" High School Comedy at it's Finest!
This has to be one of the funniest high school movies to come out of the 80's (and there are some classics there like Sixteen Candles), actually one of the funniest movies of any decade. The movie is about a school-year in the life of a group of high school students. The senior, the hot girl, the good girl, the geek, the sleaze and the stoner. Great acting, hilarious script by Cameron Crowe. watch it and then watch it again with the commentary on - I never listen to the commentary but I was bored. Cameron Crowe and Amy Heckerling are funny and it is cool to hear what the studio wanted them to keep and to leave out, the music choices and all that fun stuff. This dvd actually contains both the HD version and the regular dvd version. So if you do not have an HD dvd player/tv but plan on ... HEY BUD LETS PARTY this is the ultimate 80's movie. Beig a teen in the 80's this movie just brings back soo many memories. Sen pean was the coolest stoner dude ever except maybe for me So if you are looking for a flickthat will surel take you back to the times that a ool buzz tasty wae and yu too will be fne just like jeff

Classic high school movie!!
This is such a great movie because it really portrays what alot of us I'm sure have gone through during high school. Spicolli, what a great character! Great movie all around, not serious.. just a fun poke at one of our most memorable times in life.

Fast Times, Great times
I've always loved this movies because it reminds me of my high school days. I can relate with every character in the movie. It's great to see how many of these people went on to great careers, none less than Sean Penn. The HD-DVD version is very crisp and nice sound. I loved it!
