Step inside a Deep Labyrinth in search of your family and dog only to find a dungeon crawling with monsters, treasure, and magic. You will lead Sean in search of his parents who have run after Ace the faithful family pet. Sean enters a rather gloomy looking old house and is immediately warped to a place called Vimana. Known as the "airship of the gods," Vimana is where all memories go to be processed and removed. Sean continues his search, finding himself first in a nice airy field, then a dark and scary maze-like labyrinth. <br><br>Sean will fight off monsters with swipes from his sword, producing various strokes by the way the stylus is drawn across the touch screen. Sean gains a few magic powers along the way called Kirie, and can call on the magic by correctly tracing the Kirie pattern on the touch screen. Spells include ice, healing, weapon upgrading, and defensive magic, and the powers can also open locked doors. Sean can also equip armor and will receive a bonus by donning protective gear with the same name such as wearing a steel shield, steel armor, and carrying a steel sword. You will come across many monsters, large and small, and some boss monsters will take up both screens of the DS.

Best DS Game?
I have played New Super Mario Bros., Castlevania DOS, Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright and many other DS games but Deep Labyrinth is probably my favorite DS game. I have always had a problem with handheld systems, the games have never been able too keep my interest like console games, I never play a DS game for more than 30 minutes too an hour but since getting Deep Labyrinth I have not been able too put my DS down. Deep Labyrinth is a fantastic RPG along the lines of Oblivion. You play as a boy that is out for a ride with his parents, you get a flat tire and while fixing it your dog runs away, your parents go too look for him and tell you too wait at the car, when they don't return you go looking for them at a huge mansion where a portal pulls you into the labyrinth. The graphics are fantastic as is the music so you will instantly be drawn into the world of the labyrinth, it is filled with many different creatures, some are friendly and will help you others are not. The combat is fantastic and easy, while you use the control pad too move around the 3D world the stylus does every thing else. Too swing your sword simply slide the stylus over the screen in the direction you want too swing, up, down, side too side, diagonally, it is incredibly responsive and you will be slicing through enemies with ease in seconds. Magic is also easy and their are tons of spells, it is done with a series of boxes on screen, you simply tap the boxes in the order and shape of the spell you wish too cast. Their is plenty of leveling up too be done both for you which determines how much health and magic you have as well as for your sword which determines how much damage you do. Their are puzzels too solve and huge bosses that fill both screens too take down and they even encoporate the mic in some cool ways. Now the game does get a bit repetitive so if you don't like doing the same thing over and over this game is probably not for you. But if you enjoy leveling up to god like proportions and have too find every last item and explore every last nook and crany and if you own a DS then get this game right away, if you are a huge RPG fan and don't have a DS then get a DS and then get this game as it will keep you busy for hours as their are two different scenarios, one for begginers and one more difficult for veterans of RPG's.

Pretty good try at rpg from ds
This game was pretty fun, was abit hard to follow but still fun through and through. Would give it maybe a B-
