Starring Clint Eastwood as a bounty hunter representing 'the good' in the title, 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' directed by Italian film legend Sergio Leone, falls under the category of a spaghetti western, thanks to the Italian creative forces that drove its production. Though its primary audio track is in English, this special 2-disc collector's edition includes an original Italian-language audio dub in addition to subtitles in English, French, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Spanish. Originally released in 1966 before the MPAA instituted its rating system, this classic western includes violence and adult situations that make it unsuitable for most children. This 2-disc set includes more than 2-hours of footage, including the original cut of the film.

    A classic gets better!

    "The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly" is an all time cinematic classic, and this release give you more to love. Sergio Leone was forced to shave some of the movie down to arrive at a running time that distributors would accept. This DVD set restores roughly 15 minutes of cut scenes, such as Angel Eyes tracking Bill Carson, and Tuco hiring the gang that he later sends after Blondie. Some of the restored content lengthens existing scenes, and some of it fills in previously unexplained gaps in the story. As a longtime fan of the movie, I loved the reintroduction of the missing scenes, and it's nice to finally see the movie the way Leone intended. Because the deleted scenes were cut early on, they were not originally dubbed into English with the rest of the film. They have been dubbed in English ...

    The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

    I love this movie I think it is one of Clint Eastwood's better movies. It does have a easy to guess plot but a lot of the older movies do. That is one of the parts that makes the OLD movies more fun to watch in my oppinion. I have seen a lot worse movies that have just been reliesed. This is one of my favorite movies as I have said.

    The Best Spaghetti Western ever made.

    Classic cool... with added minutes that improve an excellent spaghetti western! It just does not get any better than this film. Eastwood at his best as well.

    The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

    It is a must see movie 1 of the best if not the best western movies. Some of the best shootouts, music and story. If you haven't seen it yet rent it or buy it you will not regret it.
