Product Information

The Fab Four take center stage once more in this exclusive Rock Band spin-off. More than a compilation of songs from the Beatles, the game re-creates the band's historic concerts, signature instruments, and changing appearances over the span of a 12-album career. Digital versions of John, Paul, George, and Ringo will not only perform at authentic venues, but also within dreamlike environments inspired by some of the band's more colorful songs. <br><br>As with previous entries in the Rock Band franchise, the game involves playing songs by following onscreen cues with one of four peripherals: a microphone, lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Vocals now offer three playable parts, a first for the series, including one lead and two harmonies. A built-in vocal trainer will help you get accustomed to singing each melody, as you are able to freely switch between all three parts with a press of a button. Three microphones are required to harmonize with your friends.<br><br>Featured on the disc are 45 tracks, including "Back in the U.S.S.R.," "Here Comes the Sun," "I Feel Fine," "Taxman," "Octopus' Garden," "Get Back," "Day Tripper," "I Saw Her Standing There," "I Am the Walrus," and "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Downloadable content is also supported to expand the initial track list, with 1969's Abbey Road the first album scheduled for online distribution. Xbox 360 owners will also be able to download a system-exclusive track, "All You Need Is Love," to enhance their collection. <br><br>The limited edition version of The Beatles: Rock Band contains wireless music peripherals patterned after the band's distinctive instruments. Included along with the game are the following two replicas: Paul McCartney's Höfner bass and Ringo Starr's drums. The latter, which will only be available in this edition, features a black oyster pearl finish and a kick drum head with the Beatles' logo. Also included are a microphone, microphone stand, and supplemental content. Both John Lennon's Rickenbacker 325 guitar and George Harrison's Gretsch Duo Jet guitar can be purchased separately to complete the band's signature look.

    The Beatles: Rock Band

    The Beatles: Rock Band is a great addition to the Rock Band game series,mainly because who in their right musical mind doesn't like The Beatles??? Very cool authentic guitar replica that was used by Sir Paul McCartney comes with. I really like the track list, as it has as many Beatles hits as one could desire. The only real negative thing to say about the game is it is pretty easy, and the guitar effects do not work as they would in actual Rock Band. (Wah Wah, Flanger ECT.) Besides that, I would say you get pretty much what you would expect, and a few extras with this limited edition The Beatles: Rock Band.

    Long live THE BEATLES!!!

    Great Bundle. It is my first time actually buying a rock band set and i thought it was a pretty good deal. Drum set can go pro with all the extra hookups and the hofner bass adds a nice touch. The mic and stand also round out the whole package. The game itself blew me away. It could have used many more songs but the way the essence of the Beatles was captured was very tastefully done. If only they could make THE BEATLES Rockband 2.

    Beatles Rockband for xbox 360

    I love it it was easy to sync up everything worked perfectly. The game itself is amazing. The instruments are easy to use (once you get the hang of it) The kids love it. My four year old sings and plays the drums. It truly is a family game. I got an excellent deal and it was worth every penny.

    Super Duper FUN!

    THIS IS SO MUCH FUN. THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT. IT'S AS IF YOU'VE TAKEN ACID AND JOINED THE BEATLES. I DO WISH IT CAME WITH MORE SONGS...ONLY 40. YOU CAN BUY ADDITIONAL ALBUMS FROM XBOX MARKETPLACE THOUGH. THE HARMONIZING IS SO MUCH FUN AND WHO DOESN'T KNOW A BEATLE SONG?! SO MOST PEOPLE LIKE TO PLAY EVEN IF THEY AREN'T BIG ON MUSIC. THE DRUM SET IS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME AS THE REGULAR ONE EXCEPT IT COMES WITH A NYLON ROUND BEATLES THINGY THAT CLIPS TO THE FRONT AND A BEATLES EMBOSED DRUM PEDAL. THE GUITAR IS COOL AND VINTAGE LOOKING,MIC COMES WITH A MIC STAND WHICH IS TOTALLY HANDY AND ALLOWS ONE TO SING AND PLAY AN INSTRUMENT AT THE SAME TIME. LOTS OF COOL REAL FOOTAGE OF THEM ON TOUR, IN INTERVIEWS, ETC. I DON'T REGRET THIS PURCHSE AT ALL EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A BIT PRICEY. WE WERE DUE FOR AN ...

    Great for the whole family :)

    We have all enjoyed this game. My kids, ages 9-14, bought this with their own money but I have to say that we've all really enjoyed it. Adults and kids alike -- it's a great "neighborhood get-together" game as the adults generally know the words and the kids have a bit of an advantage in the technology area. :) With the exception of drug references ("Lucy in the Sky w/Diamonds," for example), the words are MUCH more kid-friendly than other Rock Bank games I've seen.
