The new MacBook Pro beats the opposition in all respects.
Bought to replace a 7 year old MacBook which had given excellent service but was very slow by current standards and had run out of storage space. This new unit is spectacular by comparison and very quick, with a massive hard drive, latest intel processor, vastly improved display etc. I like the much thinner and lighter unit with the aluminium case, illuminated keyboard and additional features like the built in card reader and connection systems. I would rather have had one more USB port as there is space for it and the procedure to replace the battery and or increase the RAM is more complex than on the old model. Overall I love this new MacBook Pro. I have a Dell Laptop which I still use fairly often for various Windows applications but overall I much prefer the MacBook for its simplicity, ... Simply the best!
I bought this Mac because it is widely recognised as the top brand name in its class. I am pleased to say that since then nothing has happened to make me change my mind. My advice to anyone thinking of buying a Mac is to buy it if you can afford to.Other manufacturers use it as their benchmark which is the highest recommendation it can get. It is simple to use once you are familiar with it,the images are crystal clear and overall is a joy to use with a long battery life as well so really, what more could you ask for?I bought this Mac because it is widely recognised as the top brand name in its class. Truly a case of getting what you pay for; if you can afford one, get one.
Absolutely hands down the best computer I have ever owned. Everything I need from it, it can do. I would highly recommend this laptop for anyone doing design work like myself - it runs illustrator and photoshop quickly and smoothly and neither program drain the battery dramatically. I actually bought a couple of beautiful indie games on Steam and they run perfectly - better than my friend's all in one HP that is only 6 months old. However, if you are looking for raw gaming power then a PC will always be the better option. For anything else though, this really is an extremely good product.Absolutely hands down the best computer I have ever owned. Everything I need from it, it can do. Great laptop, waiting on the debugging.
I bought this to replace a damaged 2010 MacBook pro. It's almost identical. Great computer. Alas the software isn't. Why do Apple always mess up a good thing? OX Mountain Lion is awful. The new email programme and the latest iTunes are nowhere near as good as the previous versions. The system crashes far more often than Snow Leopard, and will not run applications that I have been using for years on older laptops. The same is true of some 3rd party software. The new Skype is rubbish. The new Office is not much cop either. Why do things have to be improved to the point where they don't work anymore? new generation computer.
quick and easy to work with. Just pleasure to browse, edit pictures etc. Not freezing, not overheating -complete new experience of having computer.
