LIFE AND TIMES OF LED ZEPPELIN
Having been a fan of Led Zeppelin since their first LP was released in 1968, I was excited to see that someone had written their biography. I purchased the book on eBay and to be totally honest, I am only about halfway through the book even though I have had it for close to three months. The author is British, the British writers sometimes use a lot of words to convey their thoughts and ideas, this author is no different. There is a lot of information in this book, names of people the boys played with before the formation of Zeppelin, names of clubs, etc. etc. Interesting information but not something you can blow through in a couple of nights of reading. So far I am enjoying the book, I will no doubt finish it before the end of the year. Led Zeppelin was one of the all time greatest bands ... This effort by Mr. Wall does the band justice. You get an inside view of the lives of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and last but by no means least, the great John Bonham. Bonham was a monster drummer, it's really great to be able to see the private side of one of the world's best rock drummers. Buy the book, you will like it.

Hats off to Mick Wall !!!
Warning:If your one of many people in which Led Zeppelin isnt just your favorite band its your religion and Page is your God,you might not want to read this book.That being said When Giants Walked the Earth gives L.Z. fans a well written and excellent insight into the most inner workings of the band and Page,Plant,Bonham and Jones as individuals.
