Product Information

The surprise hit of 2005 returns for more brick-blasting battles and sci-fi spoofing in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. As the title suggests, the storyline focuses on the first three films in the Star Wars saga. Players will choose from a variety of LEGOized characters as they attempt to end the Galactic Empire's tyrannical reign. The lighthearted action is still designed for players of all ages and abilities, but there is now more to see and do. New character-specific special moves are available, from Leia's head-knocking slaps to Obi-Wan's helmet-spinning use of the Force to confuse his attackers.<br><br>As players progress through familiar movie scenes in the story mode, they can unlock more than 50 characters and even mix-and-match individual parts and accessories to create custom hybrids for use in the "free play" mode. Also new is the ability to build vehicles such as landspeeders, AT-STs, and speeder bikes, or to ride creatures like tauntauns and banthas. The original's cooperative play option returns with a revamped camera and more team-oriented challenges to overcome. As a special bonus, owners of the first game can unlock 54 additional characters for free play, expanding the roster to include Darth Maul and other fan favorites.

    Lego Star Wars II XBOX: Funnier and easier

    We LOVED playing Lego Star Wars (Episodes I,II, and III), so I knew wew ould adore this game (especially since Episodes IV, V, and VI are near and dear to our hearts). I was right. The characters are fun, and there is even a feature that allows you to swap costumes. Imagine Darth Vader in the Princess Leia bikini!!! There are also little dance moves involved in some of the punching sequences that are fairly amusing. However, what was once Super Jedi mode has changed into an easy Jedi mode due to the higher availability of coins and the ease in defeating opponents. SO, the game is not quite as challenging as its predecessor. On a final note, I must suggest this game to any and all Star Wars fan based on Chewie's sound effects alone. This is a definite MUST BUY for the die hard Star Wars ...

    Great game for original xbox

    I got this game a while ago with the other half (i tried finding the complete saga, but they didn't have it for the original xbox) and it's great! The only complaint i'd would have was that when i finished a level, the soundtrack was sort of quiet, but otherwise, get this game if you use the original xbox.

    Classic game on a Classic Console!

    I love LEGO star wars! This game has so much detail added to it. It is definitely a fun game to try out when you have the time. This game, especially on the original xbox, is one that is faithful to the movies and the humor of the LEGO games.

    It has fairly smooth scrolling and even has a feature letting you use characters from episodes 1,2, and 3

    Great Kids Game, Parents Enjoy, too

    I bought LEGO Star Wars II for my eight-year old cousin. He absolutely loves the game. Since he plays with legos and has seen the films, the two combined into one video game is more than he can ask for. The gameplay is simple to learn, the game is entertaining and humorous, and since the player can die an unlimited number of times, even the youngest kids can play and enjoy. When a character "dies", their "body", which is a lego minifigure, pops into pieces. Leaving the game clean for kids. The gameplay is largely based on solving little puzzles by using "the force", shooting LEGO storm troopers and collecting coins to buy one of the 60 characters included in the game. What suprised me, is that it is actually extremely enjoyable for adults as well. Myself and my friends have enjoyed ...
