    Demon Angel

    I had a hard time getting into the story on this book. I think the old style language and setting threw me off. I will try another book by the same author. I am used to J.R. Ward and Lara Adrian's style which is very different.

    Slow but good

    This is the beginning story of the Guardian series, with a full history of Hugh Castleford and Lilith before it gets to the final storyline. It would feel very slow if you expect to get to the final plot right away. Lilith is not pleasant person, so it's very hard to like her.
