Info. is up to date. Self Preservation is key to a good future (Non GMO etc) A+, USER FRIENDLY. Kudos - author R. Gladstar for a great self help book
Yes, as stated, these days so many people are to be found at the local grocer looking for NON GMO products. We simply do not want chemicals in our food, well to date, I have not "ran into anyone that doesn't "seem to care" if chemicals are in their tomatoes or tumeric, or what have you. This book could easily be considered a starter guide to self preservation, naturally. However it is more, MUCH MORE than a starter quide. So simple to say, EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ONE OF THESE BOOKS, though does ring of a cliche. Everyone though ... should have one of these books, even if your garden is rooftop or a 6' X 8' rectangular raised box garden. Love It
I am a beginner @ Herbal medicine, She has lots of recipes, very easy to read. She gives what zone, full sun or partial shade, along with the medicinal uses with pictures. I really, really like this book, I cant wait to get seeds and start planting herbs right away. I think anyone from beginner to expert would be very happy with this book.

Surpassed my expectations
I cant stop reading this book. I have been wanting to learn apothecary for some time and am so glad I got this book. It is easy to follow and helps me plan the supplies needed to start a basic medicinal apothecary for our home. I just placed an order for another of Rosemarys’ books.
