  • Panasonic Lumix DMD-FH25, Excellent Camera, lightweight wth great features, and easy to carry in your purse or pocket.

I love this Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH25 Digital Camera. It takes very sharp and detail photos. Because the camera was sold new in 2011, 8 years ago, I had to download and print the instructions on how to use it as the person I bought it from did not have the instructions that came with the camera. The camera was well taken care with no scratches. I will have to buy a new battery for it, as I notice it needs to be recharged after taking about 20 photos.

  • Much more than I ever expected from a pocket point-and-shoot.

I learned photography with rangefinder and medium format cameras in the 1970s, and resisted digital cameras. This one appealed to me because of the Leica optics (SONY also looked attractive with their Zeiss optics). The camera functions very well as a simple point-and-shoot in Intelligent Auto (IA) mode, which automatically adjusts for macro (as close as 2"), portrait, scenery, night portrait, night scenery, and sunset. You will definitely need a SDHC memory card at 8GB or higher to hold as many max high-definition pix as you will want, and it's a must for video. Color saturation is excellent, autofocus is fast, optics are sharp, detail at 16.1 maximum megapixels is astonishing - it is print quality even enlarged beyond 11X14". I can compensate exposures, use flash to back-light, ...

  • Awesome camera!!! great value for the money!

I absolutely love this camera!!! I purchased the camera as a 30th birthday gift for myself and I couldn't be happier. This camera has great features and very compact and light weight. It works great in low lighting areas and brightens up whatever subject your focused on. I also love the zooming feature and it is by far the best zooming of any camera i've ever owned in the past. Great still shots and crystal clear pictures. Very easy to use and even if your not the best photographer this camera will still take beautiful photos with the iA (intelligent auto) feature which automatically adjusts itself for any photo situation.

  • A great little "goes anywhere" but still takes teriffic pictures camera

This is a really good little camera. I'll use it as an extra to my heavier slr camera, but i'll have it with me a lot more than the others. I've yet to use most of the features enough to be able to evaluate them honestly, but I do find most of them clearly described, easy to use and, after just a little learning, pretty intuitive. This is a big advantage over my Nikon. Mostly I feel free to bring this thing anywhere--like kayaking, which I'd never do with the Nikon. The images seem really sharp, colors true, light balance, good. I got this used for a really good price, but knowing what I know now, and not having the option of buying a dependable used one, I wouldn't mind getting a new one. I feel confident that the shots from this camera at higher resolution will be suitable for large ...

  • Looking for a budget compact camera? Look no farther.

This has got to be one of the best camera in the sub-$200 range, in terms of benefits/cost ratio. I read many expert reviews before I bought this camera; not all of them were fair--after all, this is a cheap camera. Needless to say, if you're that picky, go buy yourself an expensive dslr and learn how to use it. The only "complaint" I have is that the replacement for the rechargeable battery is relatively expensive ( $40). If you're looking for a budget point-and-shoot, this is IT! Some of the pictures I took are as good as ones I got from all of my dslr's using the auto mode (Canon, Nikon and Olympus).
