À propos de ce produit

Product Information

The third expansion for Bungie's popular shared-world FPS, The Taken King introduces a new enemy class and a new story campaign. The action centers on Oryx, who leads the new Taken race on a quest to destroy the Guardians and avenge the death of his son Crota. Players must make their way onto Oryx's massive Hive Dreadnaught ship, use new abilities, weapons, and gear to defeat his corrupted army, and eventually bring down the Taken King. This Legendary Edition includes the full original game, The Taken King expansion, and all other previously released DLC.

The action once again finds gamers serving as a Guardian, exploring long-lost civilizations on Earth and its closest neighbors. Players can create and customize their Guardian, choosing from the cyborg Exo, ethereal Awoken, and Human species, and then selecting from the Hunter, Warlock, and Titan classes. The Taken King introduces three new subclasses, with Warlocks harnessing electricity, Hunters using a bow made of gravitational void energy, and Titans wielding a flaming hammer. This expansion increases the level cap to 40, includes new Crucible PvP maps, new co-op Strike missions, and a new six-player Raid, and the friendly robot companion Ghost returns, though with the voice of Nolan North instead of Peter Dinklage.

  • Destiny + all expansions review

It is said this game cost more than half a billion dollars to make. That is an incredibly massive investment for such a really short game. Honestly, I still can't believe how short it is. It can't be this short, can it? The maps for each of only 4 planets (yes, only 4) are medium to big but are barely used. There are only a handful of core story missions for each planet and even these missions feel repetitive because they make you retrace over the same places you've already been. The core story makes it sound like you are embarking on a super big, long journey. Unfortunately this is not the case. You power through the few core story missions and after a few short hours find you have actually beat the game. They have extra side objectives (grinding stuff) to help you build up your ...

  • Amazing Gameplay

It doesn't matter what type of shooter games your into you will be able to find something you like on this game. You have story play with close to 80+ missions. The crucible which is basically just Multiplayer objective maps. Trials for the hardcore multiplayers. Strikes for gamers that like teaming up and going thru a story mission on hard mode to get better gear. Last but not least by any means is Raids where you have to gather a team of 6 to figure out the puzzles to beat certain parts of the missions for better gear and just to say you've done it. You can free roam to collect resources to upgrade your gear, do random world events, team up with other players just to explore or race sparrows(kind of like a hovercycle). This is an all around amazing game with great graphics for those who ...

  • Great graphics, mechanics, and online play... lackluster "expansions" and mission play

Destiny is a great online fps, but lacks in terms of content and diversity of missions. The game has great graphics and Bungie's work lives up to expectations. Where the game lacks is in its mission types, and in the way it requires frequent purchases of "expansions" that do not add enough content to justify the costs. Failing to purchase these "expansions" also limit options when it comes to online play in "crucible" mode, which is arguably the games best feature. Overall, the game looks great, mechanics are solid and gameplay is smooth. I would highly recommend purchasing the most up-to-date version of the game, however, because this will save you from more costly after-purchase "expansions". Right now the game is on its "Rise of Iron" expansion.

  • Jet Packs is Yes

To me, this game is a mixture of Halo, Diablo and Armored Core. No, you don't use mechs, and yes, it takes place in the future, and you get to travel to planets and ride around on something akin to a speeder from Star Wars. All of this is awesome. What sold me on this, a first person shooter with loot and cool skills, are the jet packs. Titans and Warlocks can boost in the air - this is what reminded me of Armored Core, although this game doesn't have aim assist like Armored Core did, and for good reason. It would be too easy. As far as the story goes, like Armored Core, a lot of it is told through a few cinematics and radio from your superiors. You get to meet them at the Tower, but they don't have that much to say. If you want to invest in the story of the world, however - it is there. ...

  • Top Action & Graphics

This is one of the best games I have seen in years. It's Legendary. Get it, play it, you'll like it. Lots of actions and shooting and more. Also great story behind it all.
