Product Information

The Dark Queen and her pigs are at it again. While witnessing the unveiling of a new virtual reality contraption, the Battletoads are surprised by four Psyko Pigs who crash into the room and kidnap Michiko Tashoku, daughter of the president of the corporation that created the machine. Zitz tries to prevent their escape, but he is knocked unconscious and taken away also. Now it is up to the remaining Battletoads, Rash and Pimple to rescue their buddy and Michiko in this side-scrolling punch and kick game.<br><br>This game can be played with one or two players, just like in the NES version. Both Battletoads are capable of many special fighting moves. The Sidearm Slice, Big Boot Block, and Ball 'N Chain are just a few of Rash's techniques. Pimple can execute, among other maneuvers, the Anvil Swipe, BT Big Hammer, Battletoad Butt, and Jaw-Buster. Throughout the eight levels of play, the 'Toads must face tons of obstacles, legions of Psyko Pigs, and a plethora of skeletons and other bad guys.

    best battletoads yet!!!

    well all the games that were made back then seem to be all the same. this one is only slightly better then the rest. this game was made in the era when fighting side scrolling games were all the rage. there were final fight, double dragon, and others but battletoads went one step futher to make the fighting intresting. they make it so the fighting is fun an inovative. like at the end of your combo your hand turns into a giant fist, or if your charge an enemey it appears your head turns into a giant ram horns. this is the 4 battletoads game and they add a little bit more to it is not the same game over and over. this is a great classic to play, but if you have played any battletoads you already got it down. this still is a good game for the fighting and the story is a bit more ...

    Nice game brings back memories.

    What can I say? Well what I like about BattleToads on this game is the originallity of the charecters abilities,One BattleToad can make power kill moves by either making a crushing Arm Anvil or with a head Ram (which looks like a real Ram horns) and the other can make a big shoe with spikes.It is so original and challenging it is worth the rating because I like a game that gives you strong enemies and challenging levels. The Graphics and music are nice in the game,Big tall charecters and enemies. The challenge is far more expected for a game from that time era,many enemies actually takes longer than a minute to kill (Dark brown pigs for example) and some times the environment is a actual threat whether be the lava stage or the floating hover disk going through a level of pointed walls ...

    Battleyoads in battlemaniacs

    High nostalgia value. Game was great then and it is still pretty fun. Two player mode is awesome but skill is needed or else you will get stuck and frustrated.

    world best game review of year one of the awesome game of the year fun to play if your inrested in this game i got say well u just can't get enough of this & take my word for it this game is awesome to play if your gamer & u don't what to play this is it i recommend on this game it so worth playing 10 out 10 perfect plus beleave gamers i got the worlds greatest to the worst & take from me i just love even the world dumdest game could be awesome on my book to graphic well don't see the problem with but all i can is a job well done sound hmmmm i hear just it perfecly the music i think i love videogame music i just can't get enough of it & the gameplay well as u see its like i all ready knew how to play when i got it at the store ready if u don't beleave what i say then take look at the ...

    Better graphics than NES...But just as frustrating!

    When I played the first couple of levels on this game I was really loving every minute of it. Both playable characters each have different moves and animation and I loved the fast paced action and the huge bosses. Once I got to the Bike / Motorcycle Level, it all went downhill for me. I remembered the countless hours I spent trying to pass the NES version of this level, and I think I only ended up passing that level once. I tried out the SNES version, and even used the Game Genie on it, but it was to no avail. If this level had been easier or had been taken out altogether, it would have changed my mind about giving this game such a low score.
