Great hearing Protection
I bought these to wear when shooting rifles and shotguns. When I shoot them while wearing earmuff type hearing protection, the stock pushes the muffs off just enough to let the sound in. When I wear the EP-7s, they stay in place perfectly. I like that I can hear what is going on around me while they are blocking the sound from the gunshots. I would recommend these to anyone who has trouble getting their face down on the stock without pushing their headphones off.I bought these to wear when shooting rifles and shotguns. Great light weight hearing protection!
This is my 3rd set I bought after losing the 1st two that blew off my neck when I pulled them out in between shooting stages. I also have the fancy electronic earphones plus the $$$ custom ear plugs too, but I always end up back to these. They cut down on the large booms very well, shooting a .308 rifle or 50AE pistol with the filter plugs out are not a problem, plus you can still hear people around u giving commands. Will sometimes wear these and some electronic muffs over also while shooting indoors or under a building cover because the echo is so bad. I tie these to my ID lanyard when I use them now so they don't get blown away. They are comfortable enough to leave them in all the time tho. Walmart used to carry these but have since been taken off the shelf at most locations I've ... Okay but could be better
Good quality earplugs, well made, sit right in ear canal, however it can be irritating due to the plastic centre tube when worn under a helmet. As the helmet pushes the plugs into the ear canal the plastic tube is irritating after a while especially when taking the helmet off the head. Ouch! I found a lot of drone frequency present during motorcycle riding when red and white plugs are out. They work best when fully plugged. As such, the sound attenuation is the same as the common cheap soft ear plugs and those are not painful. If you want it to last make sure your hands are clean or at least put them in before handing bullets and mags. Surefire Ear Protection
Wasn't sure about this product's amount of ear protection, but was pleasantly surprised with both comfort and protection while shooting my AR15 at the range. I could also carry on a audible conversation without removing or adjusting ear plugs, Do recommend.
