    Great instruments for the money

    Both work great and are worth the money. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does not sturdy in your hands like the professional ones (as expected since they are only a fraction of the price). All in all, they do the job and I am very pleased with them.

    Quality units but worry about durability of on-off switches

    The on off switch is very different from previous versions of the same model. The toggle switches on these units seem rather fragile.Time will tell if they hold up . . . . That is the reason for my giving it a 3 star rating because criterion for 4 stars is "better than expected", and I can not say that. Otherwise, it is a Welch Allyn pocket set and Welch Allyn is the standard.

    Perfect for NP student

    Was looking for a set for my health assessment class as a nurse practitioner student. Didn’t need anything fancy and it has been the perfect set! Easy to use, compact, great that it comes with extra otoscope tips. I bring it to all my cliniclas and use it frequently. Definitely recommend.

    Not up to Welch Allyn standards

    I have been using Welch Allyn products for 35 years and found them to be of high quality and quite excellent for my medical practice. This particular product, however, seem to be of low quality- not up to the standards of Welch Allyn at all. The materials that the product was made from seemed to be cheap and of poor quality. The handles seemed to be made of plastic. The pocket clip was flimsy. I was extremely disappointed.
