Mercenaries 2: World in Flames continues the open-world warfare that helped distinguish its Xbox and PS2 predecessor. You are cast in the role of a heavily armed mercenary, whose truculent talents go to the highest bidder. The destination this time around is Venezuela, where a military coup has instigated a full-scale battle over the country's precious oil supply. Resources such as tanks, APCs, boats, automobiles, and even mini-nukes can be at your disposal in a moment's notice. You can set buildings, vehicles, and even people on fire while you complete a series of deadly missions at the behest of wealthy clients. <br><br>Key features include a cooperative multiplayer campaign, an ability to recruit fellow mercenaries, and an assortment of tools to master. One such gadget, the grappling hook, lets you latch onto helicopters and other aircraft to commandeer them from the air. Once again the action is viewed from a third-person perspective as you choose from three playable characters, each possessing distinct attributes: powerful Christopher Jacobs, agile Jennifer Mui, and unstable Mattias Nilsson. Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is developer Pandemic Studios' first release since being acquired by Electronic Arts in October 2007.

Grand Theft Auto....???
This was a great game to play and I only paid 5.95 for it! PROS- Decent graphics, great weapons, can drive tons of various vehicles. great cheats! Reminds me a lot of a cheap version of GTA, addicting play. CONS- Not much of story, graphics are sub par, stupid enemies, glitches happen a lot/freezing, can not interact with anything in the game world. OVERALL 4/5 Great game great value and was a lot of fun!! A big open world game for under 6 bucks!!!This was a great game to play and I only paid 5.95 for it! Good old fashion blowing stuff up.
This game does exactly what it promises... Blowing stuff up. The game has an environment where nothing is safe from your will. You can call in massive air strikes destroying large oil rigs, or you can run into an enemy fortress like Rambo and shoot them all down. The pros: -Fully destructible environments -A large variety of weapons -Tons of customized vehicles The cons: -Driving controls don't utilize the triggers, instead you're limited to the X, Square, circle, and triangle buttons. -There isn't really a stealth element, you can't really sneak into enemy bases without getting noticed instantly. Overall, this game delivers what it promised, and will be fun to anybody who has played the original, or anyone who enjoys shooting up large groups of people. It has a decent sense of humor ... Mercs 2
Combat is very similar to the original game. Graphics and # of vehicles has improved. AI for the passengers is bad. They seem to only shoot one volley at the enemy. In Mercs 1 you can direct them to shoot where you want. Plus, in MERCS you can leave the vehicle while your passengers remain manning the MG's. In MERCS 2, I don't see this feature. 7.5 is a fair rating for the game. Lots of replayability. Shoot what you want!! Plus, it has added some weapons "training" for hard to use weapons. A very fun war game.

Mercenaries 2 review
