    Would not recommend as baby gate

    This gate has a cheap quality plastic latch that catches a long metal screw to close. The plastic latch gets stuck and I keep having to put my baby down to get it open which is incredibly inconvenient as we are at the top of the stairs where I have to wrestle to even close the latch. Opening it is just as difficult, and the plastic bracket keeping it to the wall makes a cracking sound I have only had this not even a week and am looking into finding a different brand. My daughter is ten months old and standing and I’m terrified that this gate will be yanked up and she will fall within the three seconds I try to even use the restroom. I would not buy this again.

    Good Product, but

    Works as expected, but it did have a bent end vertical bar when it arrived; it was a new (open box). It is functional.

    Consider This One

    If you need a gate to contain a child or a pet this is the one to consider. The low threshold and ease of operation is really great. It has held-up well for almost a year of heavy use to restrict a large dog. (80 lbs.)

    Excellent, but pricey.

    Installation went smoothly, but the included paper templates are way too awkward to be of help. Once installed, it worked exactly as expected. My main complaint is that the price ($73.00) is way out of line for this item. It would be a fair bargain at $50 or so.

    BaBy Gate

    Very well designed. Sticks a little sometimes, but normally works open or closed with one-hand operation. very secure and child-proof.Was super easy to install and adjust. Good quality, solid.
