The Rules by Ellen Fein
Since I've recently started dating again, I thought I could use some help, so I bought a few books. This book was one of them. I'd heard good and bad things about it, but I wanted to be open minded. I will agree that the book can seem a bit "contrived" and manipulative, but the concept is basically to allow a man to chase you and not just give in the first time a guy looks your way. The thrill of the hunt is part of the game. I have to say that I also bought the book, "He's just not that into you" as well by Greg Bernhard? and although the style is different, the message is nearly identical. If a man is into you, then he'll chase you. Anything less than that, move on and look elsewhere. I'd hoped that I wouldn't have to play games when I started dating. Either you hit it off or ... My concern is that after the "HUNT", make sure you still build your foundation on love and respect.

Its a must have.
although the book was written before the existence of cell phones and other technology advances, its principles apply to todays dating scene. I highly recommend it

A friend reccomended the book to me. I bought it and just sat it aside for awhile. Once I started reading it I couldnt stop. It gives you tips so that you are in control of your relationship with your man. No more being hurt, wanting attention, wanting/waiting for them to call- if you do the rules, they come to you begging! I tried to get my friend to read it who has bad luck with guys ALL the time, but she thinks shes too good for the book. "Oh I dont need to follow some dumb game, I will do what I want" so I just said ok suit yourself. Everytime she meets a guy hes done with her within a month at the most, usually 2 weeks. Brought the item twice on accident
Somehow I brought this book on two seperate occassions accidently. So when I got this particular order in I was a bit suprised but decided it would make a great gift for my single friend. I dont know if she's read it yet but I have and I found it humoring in some weird way yet extremely helpful. The tips in this book should be followed like a bible for dating. I now notice the many young woman like myself who constantly play the love game the wrong way. Anyways, fantastic read and very very very applicable especially for those singles out there looking for a good man to come into their life..this book will help definitely help you catch his heart.Somehow I brought this book on two seperate occassions accidently.
