Beautiful size tablet for when I was trying to use the S Pen I don't know if it had a soft tip on the tip of the pen but it seemed to snap off and now I've got just the hard plastic underneath so I don't know if that'll scratch the glass or if I need to get a screen protector other than that it's a wonderful tablet it's a little bit slow times just trying to add items that I want on the screen but other than that I've got Win X launcher on it and it works flawlessly. Great transaction overall

    Samsung Galaxy S is a good choice as a 3G emergency phone

    Page Plus prepaid service works with the Verizon flavor of this phone. In 2017, $80 buys a whole year of service that includes 2000 minutes at 4c/minute. The virtual keyboard is small to use in vertical view, but not bad if you hold the screen in landscape mode. I like the modest size and solid feel. Add a rubber skin for more secure handling. Has phone, text, camera, WiFi, etc. Add a microSD up to 32G for extra storage. My home has no cellular signal, so I enjoy this device when I go to town.

    Quick and compact android. Great for 3G phone plans like Tracfone/Page Plus

    A great little android that can works well with the Tracfone's BYOP plan. For a phone that came out 3 years ago, it is still very fast. It does everything I need it to and more. For someone who is not attached their phone at all times, I highly recommend it. I use it for occasional calls and GPS. The only drawbacks are that the keyboard is small (I use a stylus to get around it and can type info very quickly this way) and that the battery life is low if you are not vigilant about turning off apps that are not in use, such as Skype and GPS. Great value.

    Good for a beginner's introductory phone.

    After upgrading the phone's OS to 2.2.2 (The latest and last version available to it, the product is EOL'd by Verizon), it's a decent entry-level phone. I mainly got this phone as a standalone music player through bluetooth, and it works just as well. Since I'm not planning on activating it with Verizon, I cannot vouch for the coverage or signal, but inside my house (Where I average about 1 bar on my current carrier), I usually have at least 2 ;) . The Ticker bar at the bottom is a little unusual, and completely dependent on the idea that you need constant and instant access to your social networks, and on modern phones the equivalent would be widgets on the homescreen. Overall, for a beginner's phone, this would be very suitable for an introduction to the world of smartphones.

    Samaung Continuum Review

    An older, but very serviceable, compact, smartphone. Since this was a used phone I replaced the battery with a new one and this improved battery use time.

    Couldn't be better...

    I bought this phone to switch from Microsoft Mobile to Android. In the end, my bill even ended up almost $100 lower because so much stuff is free with Android (such as wireless tethering, full gps and voice directions, and more). The wifi tethering is actually faster than my home internet and is quite useful on the road. Plus, Skyfire browser works with Android, so I can go to Fox.com and watch Family Guy right from the site (or any site except Netflix) and stream videos without any rebuffering. As far as Neflix: I usually have my computer with me, so I just use the free wifi tethering app and it's fast enough to load episodes and movies with no rebuffering as well. Google maps on an Anroid phone is 10 times better than what I'm used to on Microsoft phones. I used to use a hacked version ...
