New Battery
It's too early to completely review this new laptop battery, but it seems to be working fine and it's nice to have a working battery again. I hope that it lasts as long as the original OEM HP battery. I installed this new battery into my laptop with no problems. All the latches work properly after installation.

Good deal
So far so good---I have had the battery for two weeks and the computer is working great. It was easy to install and instructions were good and the recommended youtube video was very helpful. I was surprised that the computer store wanted charge about 5 times the price of the unit I bought on ebay. Since the computer store was out of stock I tried the ebay option It took about a week to arrive by mail. I am very happy with the product.So far so good---I have had the battery for two weeks and the computer is working great. "new" battery not so new....maybe a better term would be old unused battery?
The "new" battery wasn't new at all. Although it was indeed an HP OEM battery It was dated 2015. It might have been pulled from an old laptop that no one used at the time but even if you pull a new battery from an old laptop. It's not a new battery. No more than if I had purchased a dozen AA batteries and let them sit, unused in a box unopened and then tried to use them 6+ yrs later. Not the same as new. Although the battery I received was 100% fully charged, when I pulled the AC adapter out of the laptop, it was only able to hold a charge for 8 mins, which is 7 mins shorter than my original HP battery that was in the laptop at the time of purchase. I have sent the battery back to vendor and will update my rating once I find out how this is being handled. Hopefully with a real "new" ... The "new" battery wasn't new at all. Fantastic Bargain!
Had this battery for about a week. With general use, I am getting nearly 4 hours of performance from this battery. With videos, music, etc. I still get close to 3 hours. This battery performs just as good, if not better, than the original factory battery. My laptop is slightly older, this is the 2nd battery I have had to purchase. The last one was $55 which was cheaper than any PC shop could match. At $21 this battery is a steal.Had this battery for about a week. Working the way it should
I just got it, so it is a little hard to rate. But so far so good, the laptop could now be used on battery for a decent amount of time
