    good stories of God's goodness

    This is neither a theology text nor a philosophy textbook. It is a storybook. It is a collective of essays, articles, and speeches centered around the topic of faith. Yancey is, of course, a prolific author. He is a good writer and knows how to tell stories. He instinctively knows what questions to ask and when to let a story's meaning stand for itself. He has an artistic way with words that makes this collective both interesting and encouraging. However, it might have been helpful if at least some of the stories had gone a bit deeper, especially the one on noneother than C.S. Lewis. This chapter was merely biographical, so presented nothing new. Though Yancey's ability to find God in the midst of dire circumstances is laudible, scripturally and philosophically he could have ...

    Fantastic Book!

    I do love Philip Yancey's books, he is my favorite Christian author by far! I would recommend this book 1000%. Love it.
