    Rob Halford is the Voice of GOD!

    As a teen, I thought Judas Priest's Lead singer Rob Halford was the "Voice of God", a subject I still wonder about. I discovered Heavy Metal music the same summer I read my first H.P. Lovecraft Literature. Those two elements sent my summer vacation into a wondrous haze of cosmic dread of the endless Universe around me, as I hiked across vast empty corn fields afraid I'd accidentally step through into some alternate reality. That Judas Priest is still making amazing music , and that Rob came back to the band, all these are amazing gifts form the universe to me. These albums are the sound track to my life. Thank you Rob Halford. Thank you Judas Priest. You R A W K !!!!!!!!!

    The heavier side of the Priest!

    PAINKILLER is one of Judas Priest's most aggressive releases in their catalog and features some of the band's heaviest tracks to date including the title track, "Painkiller", 'All Guns Blazing", "Metal Meltdown", "Night Crawler" and my favorite "A Touch Of Evil". There's no doubt that this harder side of the Priest came about from frontman Rob Halford's side projects (Halford & Fight), which both produced a heavier style than most previous JP releases. If you're looking for fist pumping, head banging classic metal from Judas Priest, than PAINKILLER will definitely satisfy. If you're into big hair, makeup and keyboards, this is not the Cd for you!     British metal at its finest!

    Nice to have the original packaging. Much more fulfilling than a download! Sound quality is better than a download any day. Screeching lead vocals and screaming guitar licks make this classic Judas Priest album a must have for any speed metal heads out there. Its funny how this album was recorded almost twenty years ago, and is just now being appreciated. I've heard several bands that have come out in the past few years with a similar sound, but I say go with the original metal gods, Judas Priest!

    One of their best

    It is one of their best ever, after some less inspiring albums. This one reestablished them to the top of the heap. To bad Rob left after this one. One of best bands to see live. Won't happen any more, KK kicked out of band and Glenn Tipton can't play anymore so I to medical issues. Get it!!!!

    long sought, finally bought, price had me shocked, I thoroughly rocked

    Classic JP the way that only classic JP can play it. Just another awesome album in the growing anthology that is Priest. This is the sound that to me is definitive heavy metal, and sets the gold standard for good, hard rock. The perfect addition to any Priest fan's collection.
