Item shipped on time. However, item condition was described as GOOD and but after arrival, books have some tears, staining, and look slightly moisture damaged. The box is torn, bent, and also looks like it may have sustained some moisture damage. Overall, FAIR to POOR condition would be a more accurate description. Still satisfied with the purchase.

Books arrived in bad condition and rubber banded together, which was not disclosed in the listing, but seller offered a partial refund, which didn't happen, but when I reached out several weeks later, followed through and the refund was issued.

    Exactly as described; couldn't be happier.

    I love the Chronicles of Narnia. I've been searching, for some time, for another set with the books numbered in the original order, with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe first in the set. Why didn't I come to Ebay sooner? The books are used, as expected, but in very good condition. They are yellowed but clean and unmarked. To have found the exact set NEW would have made me only mildly happier. Now to enjoy these with my grandchildren as I did with my children.

    Perennially wonderful

    This version of the Chronicles of Narnia arranges the stories as originally published, which is logical within the context of the entire cycle. The artwork is endemic of its time and classic. The quality of the binding is questionable, but it seems doubtful that the publishers meant for mass-market paperbacks to last ~fifty years!

    Chronicles of Narnia Boxed Set

    This is a great set of books. I own on that I had as a child, and my children have enjoyed reading them. I purchased this set online for my children so that they could have a set of their own to read whenever they want. They are very well written and my children started reading them when they were 6 years old. My oldest 13 finished all books and rated them excellent. My other children are still reading through them. They offer hours of entertainment for their imaginations and the best part is that they enjoy reading. This set would be perfect for anyone, young or old. They really bring the characters and environment to life. My children like the books far better than the movie, although it was good it was nothing like the books.

    Wonderful book series-EVERYONE should read!

    These books are in great condition.I am very pleased with my purchase! The stories keep us totally captivated,encourage imagination and instill positive attitudes about life,self and others! Cronicles of Narnia delight young and old alike,wonderful for reading to self or as a read aloud.I love cuddling with my children at bedtime and watching there expressions as each story unfolds.We anxiously wait for bedtime the next night when we can atlast discover what comes next. C.S.Lewis is one of the greatest writers of all times.These are his only books written for children and they are a masterpiece.-My children have enjoyed reading the series so much more than the watching the movies.I have enjoyed reading this series over and over again and decide to buy it rather than continuing ...

    A classic that has stood the test of time and loved by all

    The Complete Chronicles of Narnia was a must read amongst friends in school during the late 70's and early 80's. Nothing came close to the style, creativity, and sheer brilliance of CS Lewis. Read aloud during long road trips with family were some of the best memories and have re-read this series many times since then. If you have seen the several movies put out over the years but have not read the series I must say that nothing compares to the actual books and the wonderful creativity of ones own mind!
