Academy Award Nominations: Best Visual Effects, Best Makeup.BATMAN FOREVER: Gotham City is once again under siege, this time by the mind-controlling Riddler and the diabolical Harvey Two-Face. The Caped Crusader cleans up with the help of his new side-kick Robin in this effects-laden thrill ride.BATMAN & ROBIN: The Caped Crusader returns to battle the abominable Mr. Freeze and green-thumbed Poison Ivy. To save his ailing wife, Dr. Victor Fries turns to a life of crime after a hideous accident makes him unable to tolerate even moderate temperatures, while Dr. Pamela Isley falls victim to mutated plant DNA when things go awry in a jungle laboratory funded by Wayne Industries. Of course, though their interests are diametrically opposed (Freeze wants another Ice Age; Ivy wants to make the world safe for plants), the two villains team up to defeat Gotham's dynamic duo of Batman and Robin, who are joined by butler Alfred's motorcycle-obsessed niece as Batgirl. And when Alfred is diagnosed as having the same terminal disease as Freeze's wife, the trio find themselves not only fighting an altruistic battle, but a personal one as well.     Best batman movie dvdset ever (:

    Batman 4 film movie legacy dvd boxset(: Picture is better than batman anthology Batman returns my favorite out of the four films. Also batman forever did really go. I love this dvd box set of the movies. Any batman movie fan should own this version of batman 4 film dvd boxset. I'm loving the picture better than the anthology version. I give it 100 stars if i could. I can not be more excited about a different batman trilogy or anthology.

    This DVD collection is a must have for any Batman fan!!

    This collection of movies is bound to keep your young Batman fan amused for many hours. They will keep watching the movies over and over again. Also they will get a kick from seeing all the different movie stars playing Batman and all the different villain roles. I have been a Batman fan since the late 1960's, but to see my kids enjoying it, well that's just cool!!! PLEASE remember though, as with any of these Super Hero movies, there is violence to a point. They are all rated PG13. But I would rather show my children a Super Hero fighting against crime. Sometimes we could all use a little help!

    I Love the Dark Knight/Batman!

    Oh course I bought this right before the Dark Knight because I am finally ready to buy the whole set! I always love Batman. After watching the realistic portrayal of Begins and Dark Knight...I had to go old school and watch Tim Burtons versions! Even though the graphics are cheap you still have to love these! About the set its a nice looking set and it is cheaper to just buy the whole thing because you know you want to have this whole set! Its nice to see all the different Batmens throughout the years! Also cool to see how all the villians look to! Cant wait to see the next Batman movie -- who is going to play Catwoman/Riddler/Penquin in a realistic way? Lets see!

    i got more than i expected. a must must have for batman fans for sure. double sided discs though i prefer picture discs but still awesome two versions each disc

    Great set of movies

    The Batman movies are great. Even though the main reason I wanted it, was for the first two movies, it was nice to have the whole First-Generation collection together. Plus, each DVD has the full-screen and wide-screen ediitions, so it's nice to have the option based on what TV it is played on. Only negative thing, would be the fact that there is nothing special on the disks really. No commentary, no mistakes, not a thing. For a box set, I was hoping for a little extra, but I am still very happy with what was there.
