GREAT for beginners and experienced linguists
I had used this book for practice in conjuction with my first Spanish class, and now use it as a teaching aid as I tutor another person. It breaks down how the verbs work, makes logical sense, and has lots of great practice. It is also great for more experienced Spanish students as it does have the more advanced verb usage in the later half of the book. Even if you think you know how/why verbs work, this book explains in good detail (which is also understandable) the correct usage with examples and practice.I had used this book for practice in conjuction with my first Spanish class, and now use it as a teaching aid as I tutor another person. This book is better than the text books at school that are required.
I would love to tell you just how profienct I have become in Spanish, but I do not want to get started lieing this late in the game. However, I will tell you how happy Richard, the guy who received the book is. He was ecstatic that the book was brand new and he was the first to write in it. He said this will put him way ahead of the class he is enrolled in at the college. Always fun to buy and use something that is better than the $98 text book they require. I can now not understand a word the man is saying most of the time, so guess it is working!I would love to tell you just how profienct I have become in Spanish, but I do not want to get started lieing this late in the game. Most appropriate
This book begins with the basics and continues to build in grammar. without realizing it, one will have a very good foundation upon which to build. Easily understood and with great examples.

Practice Makes Perfect SPANISH VERB TENSES by Dorothy M. Devney
This book gives an excellent explanation of conjugating Spanish verbs and the meaning of the various verb tenses. It, also, makes an excellent teaching tool or "study-on-your-own" book because the answers are in the back and you can see what the correct answer should be.
