    A little unknown corner of US history packed into a powerful read

    I became interested in the book in which the movie was written. The author gives me an insight on the human nature and needs that caused these gangs to originate. Many readers may find similarities to the gangs of today. Once I started reading, I found it hard to set down. If you love history in the least, it's intriguing and a great read.

    True Story

    I had seen the movie and didn't realize that it was based on a true story. I haven't finished it yet, but it is a great read.
