    Daughter LOVED it - and so did I!

    I was perplexed as to how to get my 8yr old to start reading books. She just wasn't interetsed. I'd bring her to the bookstore and show her books I loved as a kid - nothing caught her attention. As a last attempt dig - I saw the title Cheetah Girls - and found a bound collection of a few books - showed it to her and told her it was about the girls from Disney Channel. That worked! this was the first book she bought that she is actually reading - where as the movies on Disney do not involve the same girls as in the books (books must of been the basis of the movie)they still involve girls in the rise to fame as a singing group, and adventures they go on in life just being your average girl who has this pop star life! Nothing racey, or would stop my 8 year old to ask questions about what ...

    My granddaughter loves the Cheetah Girls and went to their concert in the Boston area recently. I got her the first book written by D. Gregory so she could read stories about them. Will get her the other two in the series next. As Disney creations, these 4 talented, teenage girls have a positive influence on youngsters today. Children need more positive heros...
