Danikens "Chariots" Brought It All Together
This Book is what did it for me. My questions about Humanity. Religion, Archeology were all brought to a new vision to me because of this book. It opened my mind. In Astronomy alone, we kow barely anything. Be honest and accept time, distance, technology etc.. and it it easy to conceive Visitors from The Stars, In the Ancient Past. The only explanation to an unsolved mystery, is the truth. After this book. God's and Angels?. Hmmm. Maybe, Astrouants Visiting from across our universe displaying and using unknown and.Unexplaimable Technologies to basically.Stone Age People who haven't the slightest clue of flight or computing. More to the book than just its cover!
The author makes a compelling case for the future of the world and its dire need for a new direction as a whole. Some material is out of date, as it was written in the 70's, but with that said, it was way ahead of its time! Any of the errors the author made in its original format was corrected in the forward with respect to those who called the errors out. The author writes with dignity and does no proclaim anything as fact, rather, as a theory based on historical and archeological evidence which he supports with citations. Let me first start by telling you that the search for god has been part of my life since as long as I can remember. However, when you seek truth you must allow yourself a bit of doubt. I say so because we are gcreated in god's image and god must have doubt. Only with doubt and an open mind can one find answers and explore other views. Chariots of the Gods was a real treat for me. It gave me new ways of viewing the universe, the realistic posibilities of other intelligence in the cosmos, and it lead me to the book of Enoch. Enoch was the grandfather of Noah (the flood), and I must tell you that the book of Enoch is quite interesting. The topic of the Babilonian, Egyptian, and Maya calendars were impressive to me, especially because I had already done much research. Also, the ... One of the best books I have ever read
This book confirms a lot of questions that a free thinking person would want to know the answers too, the author asks a log of questions himself leaving them open ended and for the mind to wander. He makes very factual points about ancient civilizations, their birth, reasoning, and architecture. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has pondered about our origins of life, and how all the megalithic structures came about.This book confirms a lot of questions that a free thinking person would want to know the answers too, the author asks a log of questions himself leaving them open ended and for the mind to wander. He makes very factual points about ancient civilizations, their birth, reasoning, and architecture. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has pondered about our origins of life, and how all the megalithic structures came about.
