    Tamora Pierce is a master storyteller

    Having read many of her books, I wanted to continue to explore the world of Winding Circle and the young mages she created. Tris is probably the most exciting of the mages, so the story was more interesting and multi-dementional. Moving into Tris's young adulthood was great. Ms. Pierce shows amazing talent in developing characters over their lifetimes. If you had a difficult childhood or know any young women with strong, "electric" personalities you will really identify with Tris. I was very satisfied by this book and am eagerly awaiting anything else Ms. Pierce was coming out.
